14. What are your favorite kinds of hypnosis play?
Ohhh man where do I start? There's so many options! Firstly, I looooooove resistance play and fractionation - those go hand in hand and play together so well; it's such a great time. Similarly, I really love just seeing how deep I can go - think you're deep enough? Nah we can go deeper than that. It's super fun! There's plenty of others but those are the ones that come to me off the top of my head.
20. What's one tip you have for other hypnotists/subjects?
Fantastic question. For subjects and tists both, I cannot emphasize enough how important rapport is. Get to know the person you're playing with and you will have such a better experience. It can also give you an idea of who they are and give you insight on how your vibes match (or don't!) For subjects, never force anything that isn't your jam. I have a phrase ("no thank you") that I reserve for when a tist wants me to do something I don't want to do. This is a great way to signal to them that "hey, this thing isn't my jam, but let's keep going until we find something that is." Sometimes that means waking up and discussing, which is totally fine.
Also, you are always in charge of your own mind. Know your limits and communicate them. Contrary to popular believe, tists are not mind readers. Communication is key and the more honest you are, the better your experiences should be. Also, have a contingency plan in place in case a tist decides to push your boundaries, or simply if you need to wake up for any reason. For me, I always envision an exit sign that exists somewhere in the space of my mind, so that if I need to wake up, I just use that exit.
29. What's your favorite hypno-themed image/caption/piece of art?
This one is very broad, and again there's so many. To avoid the obvious snake in the room (even though yes, he definitely is up there), I'd probably have to say Polaris from Control. That spiral gets me every time, man.
