chrisden is similar to chrismax to me in that chris has himself worked into a guilt complex throughout the entire relationship about having been an asshole to this man who's now his partner who treats him so nicely except he's more confused about it here cuz dennis is aroace and what they have is more a queerplatonic partnership than a romantic relationship and chris has no idea what that is. he just knows that his and dennis's relationship has turned more emotionally intimate and he doesn't really understand why and that's part of what's stressing him out so bad about it. and if you think either of them have talked about what their relationship is at all you're putting way too much faith in both of them because chris is too avoidant and anxious to bring it up and dennis is too absentminded to realize that they haven't actually had the define the relationship talk yet lmao

i would've put chrisden and chrisjonathan in that post but tbh i just don't see chris having as strong ex energy with those two and i don't think he really has romantic tension with them either. he definitely has something going on with them of course just not anything that fit the vibes i was going for lmao
