"psst." as if it's supposed to be a subtle way at getting her sister's attention. it's not, of course, and either way, no one is actually around to hear her. leaning on the counter, ollie pulled a few dollars out of her fathers wallet. does she have permission to do that? no, but she doubts he'll notice, and if he does, well, that's part of why she's pulling elizabeth into this. weaponizing the favored child is a very important skill in an older sibling's toolbox.

It starts simply enough; Black Mass is dispersing into the night, and Terzo has evaded many of the siblings easily, dodging this and that, with intentions only to sleep for once. But then he catches sight of that tattoo, a smooth expanse of thigh and nearly exposed delicates, and the thought of sleep goes out the window, like so many other nights.

The anti-pope collects her hand in his gloved ones, presses a lingering kiss to the back of her hand. She smells like the tools of her craft; sugar and vanilla and all things sweet, and his mouth waters at the prospect. A kiss to her knuckles, to the first joint of her middle finger, his eyes never leaving hers even as he bows deeply over their joined hands.

Val had a funny way of getting Vale to beg. She didn't tease them for a few seconds, just to give them what they want and tell them they were good and they could get their reward. She didn't play hardball either! She wasn't going to mercilessly bully them for hours just for them to understand their lesson and get them to beg for forgiveness! She had a bunch of different ways about it, and she was fair. That may have been the worst part. She didn't play unfair, didn't lie just to see their reaction. She told the truth, and Vale had no idea what to do about that!

They followed orders, they listened well, they didn't cause trouble (most of the time) (some of the time). Vale had no reason to expect more teasing, had no reason to expect unfair treatment, they merely went wide-eyed when Val gave a shrug and told them the truth. All of their begging? It wasn't worth it for her. All of the pleading and the promises that they would be on their best behavior? Their green eyes were focused on Val as she stood, their fingers fiddling with their collar to keep themself busy.

nostrils flare. eyes widening, as he hits the wall. panicked. dragging breath over both tiers, as the trained revolver is aimed straight. no wavering in the face of fear. but that's what training gets you. a weaponized man, yet his visage reads like a deer in headlights. eyes wide open, neck drawn back & away from the man before him. sweat beading, pricking, & coating his entire dirt ridden face. the drifter not in a position to bathe more-so than what's allowed in a bus station bathroom. pupils darting about, without moving his face -- or disengaging with the target.

STOP WHATEVER YOU'RE DOING RIGHT NOW. making coffee? io's coffee machine regularly abused by its acting command. or the face of it, anyway. lithe & perfectly trained body wrapped in it's flannel & flood pants, with an imagined order issue tie adorning her neck.

elbows jutting, she slides the pot out of the machine, & pours the black liquid into her #1 BOSS mug. she can thank jones for that one, but her prideful use of it did foil his attempts at belittling her. she still smirks whenever he scowls upon seeing her with it.

met with the back of natural hair, slone's coolness is a key characteristic. "to what do i owe the pleasure, geno?" she asks, ripping a packet of sugar. "worried about the fort?" she's not a girl, anymore. she's head of the IO, beneath largely absent geno & for all intents & purposes, she makes the calls. she's not been worried about her boss' scorn so prevalently in a very long time. & she always took home the victory for their side.
