what kind of jobs would yr fallout ocs have in a modern au

i love fallout modern au stuff w/ my ocs idk why im not normally really an au person?? but i love this in particular

also i dont know why but i always imagine modern au stuff w/ them taking place in Miami... none of them are even from Miami... even Teddy Tallahassee aint from Florida i think Ezra-Kane is the only one from the east coast??? but i just like... see it. 

anyway so like in my modern au James is some kind of hotshot doctor who was part of some big charity campaign when he was in his twenties and hes still like kind of a minor celeb? hes head doctor/researcher at a research hospital now but hes like the “face” of it, appears in a lot of their advertisements, still does some tv stuff probably to try and get support for w/e hes working on. obviously Ezra-Kane HATES all this.......

Ezra-Kane is like a med student/intern and hes got plans to become a plastic surgeon. he absolutely just wants the money and the celebrity he doesnt want jack shit to do with helping people... hes still actually really good at the Doctoring side of things but that aint what hes trying to do. hes obviously not a murderer in this au but hes still not a really nice dude? hes just kind of been neglected by his dad his whole life and hes really bitter and hes lonely. hes not as drastically fucked up and nihilistic as canon Ezra. 

Teddy Tallahassee is like... district manager for a chain of nightclubs and hes also connected to the local mob and in their good books. he dresses like hes in Miami Vice. he manages clubs, gets talent, does some promotional stuff for them... hes pretty fuckin well-known and really popular. very wealthy (when hes not in debt), very successful. but he doesnt have anyone really close to him UNTIL he runs into Ezra-Kane at a club he manages and falls head over heels.

i can never decide if Tallahassee is still some kind of ghoul or just a regular guy or a regular guy + burn scars..............

Tuesday is working in a shitty computer repair place trying to get enough money to go to uni and study programming and he also sells drugs on the side to help support himself and his mother. hes actually kind of in a stable-ish position where hes got enough of a rep to be relatively safe and have regular customers but hes getting really frustrated and hes taking more and more risks to try and get more cash in. he sells in some of Tallahassee’s clubs. Tallahassee lets him.

i, for one, cannot wait for all the super cringy het bdsm aloth fics that will most definitely pop up if the bioware fandom starts rubbin their hands all over poe

andrés is a very twitchy/cautious dude in general, the only major time where his instincts took great affect in his situation was with his ex slaver hook up, where he realized he was getting groomed into slavery, so he shot the dude dead in the middle of the night and ran off.

he always thinks the fact that he was born was a disaster in it of itself, but thats just him being emo n self loathing his entire existence.
