My 16 year old self...1976. So much I wish I could go back and tell her. Mostly? I think I’d just give her a hug and tell her that no matter what she thinks, she’s smart, beautiful and ready. That life wouldn’t give her anything she couldn’t handle and that she would eventually meet “ Him” and he would love her warts and all. That she didn’t need to be a pretty and witty play toy to be loved. That she didn’t need to be “ entertaining “ to be loved. That love at first sight was possible and that patience and believing that it was already so was the key. That she could take time to read, nap and dream. That magic was absolutely real and found everywhere just like she thought... and most importantly of all?
