It's ok to get help. We all need it or want it or choose it, just don't be the one who thinks they don't need it or worse doesn't want it. God had help completing his work. Though he never needed it, he chose it. Through the inner work of the Holy Spirit and the work of Christ, God the father completed his work with power of defeating sin by offering his son to take our place on the cross and in doing so crushed sin forever giving us the choice to choose Christ and his kingdom. He's still working through his kingdom warriors by the power of his word and the Holy Spirit till Christ returns. If God chose help, why wouldn't you? No one has ever accomplished anything on their own. We were all born into this world needing help right from the beginning. We had friends and family, mentors and role models to look to for advice and help us grow to accomplish all that we have accomplished so far. No one gets far in this life by themselves, we all need help in this life.
