Okay, so it's not an OTP or anything but I would love to see more ChoLinny.
on Cho’s bad days, they all curl up in bed together and watch the rain drip down the window panes
they get lesser and lesser over the years, but it still happens and they always tell her that it doesnt matter how long its been, its valid
so Ginny makes hot cocoa and Luna massages her shoulders and they both listen to Cho talk
sometimes stories, sometimes dreams, often times regrets and things she would’ve done differently
and they curl up on either side and stroke her hair and Cho gets some semblance of peace
on Ginny’s bad days, Cho whisks them all outside for the fresh air, and she has Luna perch behind her on a broom
and they watch Ginny do loops and twirls and dives with fierce determination
sometimes she goes at breakneck speeds that make Cho think Ginny’s still trying to escape from something, some chain in the past but when they land, Ginny presses her face under her chin, hugs her fiercely, hugs them tight and Cho knows that she’ll be okay
Luna’s bad days are muted, in a way that sunshine tries to break through cloudy grey skies
but they happen. they do.
Luna likes to wander, and so they all go outside again, spend the afternoon by the lake, dip their toes into the cool water
and Luna tells them about how her mother had theories about river mermaids
“what do you think id look like as a mermaid?” Cho asks, head leaving a wet mark on Ginny’s shirt from where she’s resting it
Luna hovers over her, smooths back the dark hair that’s falling into Cho’s eyes and the smile she gives is that first break of a sun ray
“exactly like you do now” Luna says and they hold hands and they’re alright.
