Ingredients: 1 cup dried figs, stemmed. 1 cup raw almonds. 1/4 cup cocoa powder. 1/4 cup maple syrup. 1/4 tsp vanilla extract. Pinch of salt. 1/4 cup vegan chocolate chips.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 175F 350C. Using a food processor, mix together cocoa powder, maple syrup, salt, dried figs, and almonds until a sticky dough forms. Making a crust, press the dough into the mini muffin tin cups. Put it in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the crust is dry. Take it out of the oven and let it cool down a bit. Warm up vegan chocolate chips in a bowl that can go in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring each time until the chocolate is smooth. Spread the melted chocolate out evenly over the crusts that have been left to cool. Put it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to set. Pull the muffins out of the pan when they're done and serve.
