There were 3 versions, and the version that I had wanted the most was a really sad version where Jack Bauer and Chloe didn't make it out, and they died together kinda very slowly, and finally holding hands.

The whole thing is very surreal to me, all the way around, and it’s been such a slow build and so many layers where I started out as, you know, a computer tech person who would recite the rules and then, you know, over time became this relationship that I don’t think anyone could have predicted, that’s sort of become larger than life. Forever and ever, Jack and Chloe.
