*Chip was kinda just doing their own thing. They sat on a rock, kicking a smaller rock around with their foot. Quis had wandered off somewhere so they were waiting for them to come back.*

”wuah…was…. Was dat mean..?” *Chip tilted their head*

And yes, the chips do make noise, specifically when eaten or broken. They are usually crunchy. :D

Uhh...if they aren't, they could be a softer chip or stale/gone bad.

”you have to kill them for them to make noise??? D:”

There is a wide variety of them. Here's a few of my favorites. :D

[I hold out a few colorful bags; Doritos, Ruffles, and Lays pickle chips.]

”ouh….” *They stare at the ‘Chips’ and tilt their head* “they…look weird…”

“We have never seen the script on these before…” *Quis reaches out to grab the Ruffles and flinches slightly at the crinkle sound* “Where did you acquire them?”

“It made noise…. :O….”

”Why..why would I eat myself? D:”

*Glacier comes running over with something in their hands*

*They hand both of them a pure crimson poinsettia*

*Chip flinches* “A- Ou! A flow-er!!” *They take it from them gently*

*Quis takes the flower* “Thank you, sibling. This gift is appreciated. Unfortunately, we don’t have anything to give in return…”

"mmmmm...... We could have them pet Chi instead!"
