If you're looking for a gorgeous project featuring traditional, medieval-style art and monsters, I heartily recommend Monkeybread's current project, Chimeras of the Middle Ages, an anthology of 5 short story comics reimagining the sanctity of the 14th century!

With art from five French artists, a ton of gorgeous merch and an actual, honest-to-god Latin translation for those who want to flex their academic muscles, this is one of the coolest things I've seen in a while.

The chimera form has a large amount of loboan (werewolf alien) to it with a kineceleran tail, necrofriggian wings, an opticoid eye on the right shoulder and the upper left arm being methanosian dominant with closed red flower bulbs on the shoulder. The much smaller vulpimancer lower arms pull open the ectonurite eye tract running down the chest and belly to show Kevin's guts along side unfurled conductoid/ectonurite hybrid tentacles. There is a blue knobby Pern dragon horn on the right side of his head and a bulbus Pern dragon eye on the left side of his face swirling with orange, red, blue, and white. /end id]

Chimaeras are some of my favorite cartilaginous fish :)

I love ratfish. They remind me of butterflies.
