Chilling on a chilli like...
Hex Powder
Take together the following dried herbs:
two parts Artemisia leaf
one part Juniperus needles
one part Capsicum fruits
half a part soil from the target’s property
half a part Cenchrus echinatus seeds
Add thereto a part soft limestone rock. Grind together in a molcajete to a fine powder.
To use: sprinkle carefully in an X pattern in a place you know your target will be walking. Spit into the centre of the X and speak over it the curse you feel is appropriate. When your target steps over or through the pattern, it is so cast.

Chiltepin (Capsicum annum), at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, Tucson, Arizona. This small fruit, the size of a large pea, is likely the wild ancestor of the world’s chilies.
