Question: do the child(ish) works depict a romantic or parental dynamic? Iβm just a little confused because the tags include yandereXreader, but it isnβt outlined weather the reader is actually underage.
My child(ish) works 100% depict a platonic and sometimes parental dynamic. Definitely not romantic!
I say sometimes parental, because some of the characters I write might not take on a parent role (for example, they might act more like a friend, sibling, uncle/aunt, someone unfamilial, etc.), but their dynamic with the reader is still purely platonic.
I put R, Rom, or Romantic on all my romantic work titles, and I never put platonic tags on them, so that's how you can differentiate. Likewise, I put P or Platonic on my platonic work titles. I try to make it very clear for you all.
As for tagging my platonic works, honestly, I'm really lost with what to tag lol, I just use general tags that most yandere authors tag their works with. yandere x reader can be platonic as well. I never put explicitly "romantic" tags on my platonic works, unless they feature a separate romantic dynamic with the reader as well.
Child(ish) in particular is harder to explain because it can be read in two perspectives for two different types of audiences: those who enjoy a child reader perspective and those who enjoy reading forced age regression.
For child(ish) I purposely make it vague whether reader is underage or not, because it's completely up to you! You get to pick how old reader is, whether they're a 5 year old kid or a 17 year old teenager being treated like a baby or a 26 year old adult being forced to act like a child (or literally any other age!). It's all in your hands darling, whatever you prefer to read the most!
