last year i had some of the most depressive months of my life, at some point i decided to give up, to just not leave my bed like at all, i was eating once a day, showering once a week and cleaning not at all, then the weather got cold enough to not need the ac (only my parents room has ac) so my dog started sleeping with me cuz shes allowed to sleep in my bed but not in my parents’, then she started spending all day with me and i mean ALL DAY, which she would never do even in previous years cuz she’s so nosy she wants to know everything i couldn’t even picture her doing nothing for an entire day but every single day she would only go out to eat/pee/poop and come back to me and i can’t even explain what it did to me i can’t even believe how much she helped me cuz i have a support system i have friends i have my family but i don’t have (or expect to have) anyone who takes care of me 24/7 but in a way she did, cuz the only thing that made me smile all day was seeing her and since she started spending all day by my side i would see her all the time and all the time all i wanted to do was cuddle her so i started getting up and at first i thought when i leave this bed she’s gonna leave, but i would go to sit outside and she would jump to sit on my legs, wherever i went she would follow and i understood that she understood that it was not a coincidence she was doing it on purpose she was trying to help me and she did! cuz people who care about u try to help u but they have their lives too, but for her im her life she doesn’t have to worry about anything else so she could focus entirely on me and she didn’t have to but she did, i dont know how she knew and in my entire life i dont think i could repay her love
