I'm curious about the rape recovery and Geckos in Xibalba AUs. Can I get more info on those?

The rape recovery fic is kind of a conversation and experiment that got out of hand, but it’s essentially based off the idea if Ray raped Seth and Richie caught him, and it sped up his already planning to murder their dad murder plans, then the fall out of that for years after. At first, I figured that Richie would never allow incest to happen between them because of that and deny Seth that kind of relationship because it makes him feel like Ray, but then I got fascinated with the idea of figuring out how to make it work despite of that history. Most of the fic is about Seth’s trauma responses (hypersexuality, sleeping with much older men, etc) and Richie’s trauma responses to what he saw and how he feels about Seth (heavy incidents of self harm), and them trying to navigate a very different kind of fucked up attraction to one another, despite their history of parental sexual abuse. I worry this sounds highly intellectual and issue fic-y, but it’s a brain exercise in how ship them versus the reality of real life familial sexual abuse and also extreme id party hurt/comfort melodrama.
Geckos in Xibalba AU is kind of less defined, but I liked the idea of them both getting trapped in Xibalba at the end of S3 and they have to make it work because now there’s no ruler with Amaru dead. I liked playing with the politics of that, but also combining it with an almost post-apocalyptic landscape and sense of isolation. I just wanted to explore more of Xibalba and potentially the idea of shadow selves. Like, does Seth have a shadow self? What’s he like? Those are my feelings. Also, I just really like horror and creepiness and I imagine Xibalba as an extreme of that.
