I love when she flies up on the feeding cup. Such an impatient baby.
A Sudden Gust, 2024
Artfight attack that didn't go through due to site lag. Boo!
It was supposed to be a mass-attack featuring Tig (@sennamaticart) and Mary (@malvacae) hanging out with the chickens Gorban (@sjofisk), Vera (@EmpTwiNesse), Wizard (@DiamondDovesArt), and Rudio and her babies (@birdb0rb).
Above them fly the Aureole (@FoxShadeZ) - glowing, bird-shaped wind spirits. To the delight of some and consern of others.
I think tumblr didn't let me post this back then but here is a cute video of B.B.
Girl is just the cutest little baby. She was so small! She isn't much bigger now but has grown at least a little bit.
I already knew that I wanted to add Marans to my flock for next year, and depending upon how Peanut and Pinecone lay (they both are Silkie or Polish roosters crossed with Crested Cream Legbar hens) possibly some pure Crested Cream Legbars. Well, today I came across Welsummer eggs, and omg, look at these!
I was only planning on getting three more pullets, so now do I need one of each?! Or just skip the Crested Cream Legbars and get two of one and one of the other, but in what combination?! Chicken math is hard!

chickens are pretty much done now, I'll take a better pic once it's all cropped and whatnot (and probably squashed under a bunch of books for a while)
Have you ever seen a more orbular woman
I attempted to draw my lovely daughter Pipin.
Now that im looking at it I realized I made her head and eyes too big.
here is the refrance photo I took awhile back.
And here is her flock-mate admiring it.
