Today was a big day for my pup babies—they had their semiannual doctor’s appointment, & I’m so relieved to report that they’re all healthy & thriving! As we are on the way home, we immediately needed to take a “Potty Pup Pitstop”. Apparently, Nairobi couldn’t wait until we got home to do her business. Soon as we pulled over, Nairobi & Goldie rushed out of the car—damn near scaring me! Anywho, I’m holding “Sir”; the other babies are sleep.

PUPPY UPDATE: Goldie & Nairobi are parents yall!!! Some weeks ago, Robi gave birth to 4 gorgeous puppies; one brown (Sir), one caramel (Sadie) & two black (Don & Donna). These babies are the cutest, most cuddly & playfully rambunctious bunch of pups I’ve ever seen. My heart just melts when their little button eyes stare at me incuriosity! …I think baby Donna is Nairobi all over again; she appears to be developing into a bad & bougie pup! While the others play fight & talk crap; she’s been taking notice of mirrors & glam moments. 🤗

7:23PM | Private landing at Van Nuy’s…finally! It has truly been a long weekend of press runs & advocacy in the Bay. This evening, I was expecting the usual: jet lack & quiet ride home. Upon touching down in LA, I’m beyond ready to lockdown & reset. As I’m attempting to move swiftly into my car….I noticed the jittery demeanor of the airport staff & my personal security. Standing outside of the car door, I finally break & ask my driver, “What’s going on? Why is everyone acting weird?”. He then looks at me without saying a word, slightly smiling & proceeds to open the back door of my Rolls Royce. That’s when the lovely smell of roses smacks me dead in the face. I’m not sure what’s going on, but I am in complete confusion thinking, “Another year, another secret admirer?”. Interrupted in thought while sliding into the car, the driver expresses to me that there will be a slight detour….

We then pull off to another area of the airport; where I spot a huge building containing a 2024 Benz, shopping bags & flowers galore. I’m flattered, but I’m STILL confused on who’s responsible for this huge gesture.

Driver: “Miss Déesse, open the ‘Crown Bear’ & read the card.” Irritated by the shenanigans, I open the box & card with it stating, “Happy Anniversary”, with a crazy cursive scribble of a ‘D’ & other illegible letters. Throwing my head on the head rest, I crack a smile…knowing EXACTLY who’s responsible behind this madness. Just toxic…
