Going to the city again for a lil night out by myself and once again taking the train is maybe the coolest part of the whole experience. It costs $13.40 total to take the metra to the L to zanies. It would cost a minimum of $30 in gas, tolls, and parking if I drove. The transit takes about 2 hours and driving would take about an hour and a half.
So it costs a little less but takes a little more time, which is a compromise that’s worth it to me, because there are two extra perks: I don’t have to drive in the city (which is a nightmare and I refuse to do it) + I can do the entire trip stoned lol
