Where do I even start with this gem. So for me personally, Jaina and the Red Crane always had a strong symbolic connection back during Pandaria and when the Warcrimes book came out, and then after she rage quit the Kirin Tor in Legion. I had always thought it would have been really neat if during that time when we didn’t know what she was doing, Jaina had gone back to Pandaria and spent some time at or around the Temple of the Red Crane and let Chi-ji and the crane pandas (Red Crane Order) help guide her in dealing with her shit. And just the whole thought of Jaina using those kinds of teachings to help her get through it all, finding that kind of wisdom, maybe becoming a sort of Chi-Ji Disciple/Red Crane Order mage was just soooooper cool to me. I had all these headcanons and ideas for a long time. So my heart exploded with joy when this portrait came out and these voice lines are just frosting on my cupcake. ))
