I remember when your father died. You said you wanted a tattoo of a crow and then chain smoked for as long as I can remember. I also remember when I tried to steal you a puppy the first time I tripped on cough medicine. The dog wasn’t havin it. Late night in cars listening to gorillaz reminds me of you. So do marlborol cigarettes and the way cat piss smells. You always had my back but could never really read my lingo. Though you laughed the same as I. You always cried the same way too. Its strange to know that you’re my only true friend but  yet we never talk anymore. It’s like being 19 again but only you’re not here. You were there for me when I was 19..18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13...do you remember how I smile? Are you mad at me? My mother wishes you were around more. I know I miss being able to cry at the bathroom floor without fear of no one bringing me a towel for a pillow. I know I miss being able to call you whenever and wherever. You always coming to save me with a packet of smokes, a weed man to call and a home to sleep at. You always had my back and I never had the time or the space or the mindset. I’m sorry.
