Camp Activity: Describe Your Living Space
He’s got two beautiful gardens and I’ll talk about em both.
First is the camp garden. Originally it was just a small few squares of tomatoes, no fencing or markers, and quite easy to forget about when the kids are in the middle of a rousing game of red-rover. But after @oopsie-daisy got her hands on it, the garden has a little more to it with marigolds to protect his tomatoes from treacherous hornworms, and basil. Once he got a little more...interested in her little project, the two began taking care of it together. So after a trip to the farmer’s market one weekend, and another day for some added touches, the garden’s now in a box with added sunflowers, daisies and carrots. It’s still an open garden, but it’s much more noticeable now.
Second is his garden at home, which isn’t significantly bigger, but it’s a good few beds for tomatoes, cucumbers, and any other veggies he feels like growing. He likes to plant flowers in pots and save the land he does have for the veggies. There’s a rosemary bush that came with the plot, but that sits by the front door and not so much an addition to the garden.
