Enjoy Memorial Day or the Fourth of July in two different ways with these delicious Cherry Cake Bombs. Full of cherry flavor and dipped in patriotic hues, these are ideal for any festive gathering!
Ingredients: 1 box cherry cake mix. 1/2 cup vegetable oil. 3 large eggs. 1 cup water. 1 cup chopped cherries. 1 cup white chocolate chips. 1 cup red candy melts. 1 cup blue candy melts. 1 cup patriotic sprinkles.
Instructions: Grease a cake pop mold and preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit 175 degrees Celsius. Combine cherry cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil in a bowl and stir until well combined. Stir in white chocolate chips and chopped cherries. Fill cake pop mold with batter, and bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Let the cake pops cool fully. One bowl contains melted red candy, while another contains melted blue candy. Dip each cake pop, one blue, one red, into the melted candy. Let extra run off. Before the candies harden, immediately sprinkle with patriotic sprinkles. Transfer to a tray lined with parchment to set. Continue until all cake pops have been covered. To ensure complete setting, refrigerate for a duration of 30 minutes. These delicious Cherry Cake Bombs are ready to be served!
