This is a series I started on Tiktok called, “Fuck, I’m Short” where I apparently am humbling myself and making it very clear that these guys are way too fucking tall.

Hi! I saw your Dachsbun plush and it looks amazing, I was just wondering what model you used for plushify? I’m trying to use it myself, but it’s not going too well 😅 If you could spare some wisdom, it would be greatly appreciated. 🙏
Hi! =D Thank-you, I'm glad you think so!
I used the model of Dachsbun from the game that is currently dumped on Models Resource! You'll have to do extra prep to it before putting it in plushify though...
The thing with that rip of Dachsbun is that it has all 3 levels of detail sitting on top of each other (as in it has it's 2 low poly models too). So I imagine the issue you're facing is it has LOADS of pieces and they don't make sense... because it's loading you 3 models... not good
What you'll need to do is open the model in a program like Blender and identify which model piece layers are the low poly model pieces and delete them, then export it again as the model format plushify expects.
It should look a lot clearer for you after that. =) Keep in mind all the fur patterns won't be there, so you'll have to manually tweak the plush pattern to add in the striping etc.!
Also of note... the pattern won't line up perfectly because there are multiple points where the meshes intersect... plushify won't show you where... there are also those hidden chest fluff bits under the chest buns... and you'll have to contend with the internal mouth parts and the "eyeball cone"... make sure you thoroughly label your pieces in plushify before printing it out or you're going to have a horrible time trying to work out which piece goes where.. @_@
Good luck, I hope this helps and I'd love to see the finished thing if you go ahead with it =)
