For now I'm gonna leave it open until August 30th, and if I need to extend or shorten it I'm gonna post something about that in my stories

Ack WIP Again

Not totally new but this was a different attempt at the updated DND character art.

Iris Sparkle, living up to her name ✨️

Trying out some new paints, so far I'm pretty happy with the results, but the black, burnt umber, and viridian in this set tend to dry patchy. The titanium white is also basically transparent, which is *such* a letdown. They perform better when mixed with paints from some of my other sets, and for the most part the colours are bright and dry nicely opaque.

Ah well, the trials of testing out new kits.

I wrote this one a WHILE ago this one is not new to any capacity

Rob sat down next to Richard. Richard didn't hear him walk up, much less sit down. He only noticed Rob was there because Rob put his hand on Richard's.

“You ok? You've been avoiding me the past hour or so.”

Richard ducked his head. Rob hadn't seen the black eye. Maybe if Rob didn't see it, they didn't have to talk about it. “Yeah. I'm fine.”

“Let me see.”

Oh. He knew. “How did you-”

“Genna said you two were fighting. She sees everything, you have to stop being shocked when I find out you got in a fight.”

“It doesn't hurt that bad.”

“Mm. Let me see.”

Richard turned his head. He wouldn't look Rob in the eyes, he didn't want to see Rob upset.

“He got you good this time. You're bleeding.”

“Am I?”

“Yeah, you got a cut… Right here.”

Rob put his hand on Richard's face and lightly tapped a cut, wiping some of the blood off. “You got to stop thinking you're stronger than him. You're not.”

“I know I'm not.”

“Do you? He keeps beating the shit out of you and you keep letting him.”

“It's fine. I'm fine. I just need to put a bandage on the cut, I'm fine.”

“Rich…”

“I'm fine, Rob.”

Richard put his hand on Rob's and finally looked Rob in the eyes. They sat like that for a moment. “I'm fine.”

Rob moved his hand away from Richard’s face, then turned his head away. Did Richard say something wrong? Was he mad?

“Just be careful, Rich. All I'm asking. Come on, let's go get you patched up.”

Rob stood up, and held his hand out for Richard to follow him.

Bonus unrelated art:

SURPRISE POST SOMETHING CANON TO THE ACTUAL CAMPAIGN now Rob is stuck in Richard's body because Richard lost his heart and Rob lost his body

So basically Rob is keeping Richard alive by being his heart, and Richard is keeping Rob alive by providing him a body so he doesn't fade away
