Rules: Describe your OCs As...
— dawn - Arlen. (Because he’s at the start of his adventures. Everything is new to him, and he’s full of hope for how things will go. Plus I imagine he’s an early riser.)
— noon - Merle. (Bursting with warmth and energy, everything is transparent and open with her. Plus she hates mornings and is more awake around noon.)
— dusk - Cherrenth. (The colors, mostly, but he also dampers Arlen’s enthusiasm. He’s willing to bask in the light of a happy moment, but also can see the darkness creeping in.)
— night - Night. (The quiet moments, far too much time to think, and how you can only see however much the moon decides to illuminate for you, and the quiet lives of dangerous creatures feels very fitting for her.)
— friend - Cherrenth. (Loyal to the bitter end, always watching out for Arlen, willing to say the blunt truths, even if they sound cruel.)
— lover - Arlen. (Lover of knowledge, passionate about many things, soft, always there if you need someone to sit with you or talk you out of your own head.)
— ex - Merle. (Holds grudges, but will keep moving forward in her own way. Very bitter towards her ex-guild, The Howling Ice.)
— enemy - Night. (Everyone has the potential to become an enemy until they prove to her otherwise.)
— spring - Arlen. (He’s at the start of a new phase of his life. Full of energy and promise, but the cold of his past and his fears is still biting at him. But he’s looking for the flowers among the rainstorms.)
— summer - Cherrenth. (There’s one reason and one reason alone I associate Cherrenth with summer - This fun mental image I had of him lounging on the back of a couch on a hot summer afternoon with a grumpy-resting face like my cat does stuck with me and I have adored it ever since.)
— autumn - Night. (I imagine Night’s fond of autumn. The colors, the longer nights, the gray skies, and the rain. I can just picture her sitting on a rooftop after a long rain, just staring up at a cloudy moon with the scent of rain clinging to the air around her.)
— winter - Merle. (Born of cold mountains, a daughter of the snow-kissed peaks. She’s used to harsh conditions, and can laugh and experience joy during them. Loves long nights with friends and family around a crackling hearth. She’s comfortable with the cold, familiar with the snow, and neither look monstrous in her ice-blue eyes.)
— tornado - Night. (You may catch the warning signs, if you know how to look, but even then you won’t have much time to react if she’s on the hunt. Devastating, swift, and gone as quickly as she struck. You’d only know she was there by the destruction she left behind.)
— wildfire - Merle. (Her anger is hot, fiery, consuming, and also patient. She’ll creep along as slowly, consuming and growing, as she has to if it means she gets to burn the people she’s crawling after, and it takes a great deal of dedication and work to calm her down.)
— earthquake - Cherrenth. (His anger is sudden and furious. Usually the result of a long string of built up pressures and buried feelings. Things he let slide but continued stacking until he had enough.)
— tsunami - Arlen. (He’s easily consumed by his ideas and finds himself nearly drowning in the pressures. His excitement can sweep people away with him, as it has Cherrenth.)
— mountain - Merle (She was born and raised on the mountains, she breathed their air, and inherited their stubborn, unyielding will.)
— forest - Arlen. (Full of life and many different depths. He also is quite fond of herbs and alchemy and spends a fair bit of time out in the forests.)
— ocean - Night. (Seemingly calm on the surface, but her thoughts run much deeper and darker than anyone could imagine. She holds the power to save or destroy you on a whim, and fears neither. Even the people around her probably only know as much about her as we know about our own ocean. Which is to say, not much.)
— desert - Cherrenth. (Where there was once hope and a love of the world is now salt and dry wit. You can grasp him, but much of his depth will slip right through your fingers. He harbors life and secrets, but it takes a special skill set to draw it out of him.)
