this is my honorable mentions list on youth with you. this list consists of girls who i wanted in the top 9 (or not but i really liked them) but were unfortunately eliminated or another girl took her place. i wish these girls all the best in the future whether they stand on stage or not.

these girls mentioned are either in the top 20 or have been eliminated on episode 20. there will be a part 2 of this list featuring trainees eliminated on episode 16 and 9/10.

so in no particular order:

wang chengxuan. (sharon)

ahh cutie. she’s a great dancer, good singer and recently proved herself she can rap. i liked her performance in “oh boy” despite not being center lmao the shen quadruplets and her “lion” performance was fire. can’t wait to see what she has in store for us in the future.

ge xinyi. (gia)

honey. this chick is questioning my bias list right at this second. i always liked her but she is threatening my bias list when she did “lover” thank you kun for choosing her ily and “no company”. she has definitely built up her confidence since the show started and now she made the stage her bitch. i wish her the best in the future.

shangguan xiai. (frhanm)

oh yes. she is one hell of a performer. the way she sings, dance and expresses herself, she reminds me so much of cheetah. the way she made the stage hers, truly mindblowing. a lot of people say she should fly solo and while she is definitely capable of being a solo artist, if she wants to be in a group then hell yeah she can. with such power like hers, she can do anything.

chen jue.

the “chinese girl” t-shirt girl. i thought she was gonna be those inexperienced trainees, but while her dance skills aren’t the best, her voice is heavenly. she was amazing when she did “flammable and explosive” i love her vocals. she also did great in “ambush on all sides 2” and “lion”. i wish her the best release an album sweetie.

zhang yu.

the first thing i thought when i first saw her was ‘wow her hair!’ but as i watch the show, her voice is perfection. very mellow and chill, very rnb and ballad like which is what i like. she may not be the best dancer but her performance has improved when she did “ambush on all sides 2”. she also might not be the strongest singer, her voice is beautiful and stands out from the rest of the girls.

xu ziyin. (roada)

amazing vocal. when she hits them high notes tho, that’s gave me goosebumps. when she did “never give up” i was shook, she got me shakened up with her adlibs. i loved her in “light orange island” and “ambush on all sides 2” she did amazing. not to mention she’s just so beautiful someone get her a modelling contract.

kong xueer. (snow)

majestic. that’s how i describe her in one word. the way she dances makes her stand out from the rest of the girls and the way she sings is also great. i love her “play” and “non-daily revelry” performances as she totally slayed the center position. i doubt that she wouldn’t be in the lineup but if she somehow falls outside the top 9, should would be successful regardless.

lin fan. (marco)

i was so mad that she finished at rank 21 i swear to ziyi why do my faves always come 21st first yanchen now marco? unbelievable. she might not be the best dancer or the strongest rapper but her stage presence is great and that’s awesome. she’s also a hilarious person which is a bonus and she’s such a sweetheart. she slayed “the minds of billy milligan” and “no need to guess” you can say i love her rebellious side. i know she will do great thing in the future.

xu xinwen.

hands down the best vocalist of the season. her voice is out of this world i was so shocked that she was ranked in the 50s in the first elimination. she then became a dark horse and finished in the 20s. she was absolutely stellar during “sun”, “mama” and “light orange island”. oh and her moment with kun during “lover” was so cute you go girl.

nai wan. (nineone#)

oh yes the nineone, girl can do everything what can’t she do? fake smiles. she was so cool during “no company” she blew me away with her chic style. she was so cool in “melody” and “why am i so good looking?” despite the bright concept. check her music out when you have the time its really good.

i know i mentioned some contestants that were placed in the top 20 but if im going to be honest, most of the girls im rooting for happen to be in the top 20 and it was hard to make my final list. let me know who are/were your faves!
