Old fan here. Repeat after me: Chelsea has no tea! Nothing! I've been through her sh*t one too many times but last february when new fans arrived and started to buy her lies like gospel truths I knew we would come to this. If she had even a tiny bit proof she'd show it! (That never happened btw) Stop giving her attention, that's what she lives for. I am too old for this place and seen enough but she is one of the worst things ever happened in tumblr, not just vm fandom but in general.
I agree with everything except for not giving her attention. That’s what everyone’s been trying to do for years and it’s not working. Maybe if more people were paying attention she wouldn’t be getting away with half the crap she says.
Omg, yes! I can’t believe how much shit Chelsea says about VM. I bounced when she kept spreading the affair with Pelletier as truth! It was all gossip and she basically villainized Tessa as well. I think she’s full of BS b/c now she’s all about wanting VM to be together? What a bunch of crock. She just thrives in being chaotic and it’s sad to see some people I used to follow eat up what she’s says and make star charts and/or call Scott names. Also the nastiness towards a woman we don’t know!
Objectively speaking don’t Scottsflow and Hashtag do much of the same things as Chelsea? The only difference is they appeal to shippers predisposition to believe fairytales. They treat assumptions as facts. VM living together, sharing a room on the tour bus, spending the summer at her cabin are all assumptions they’ve decided are facts. Let’s not ignore the fact that Tessa is Hashtagvirtuemoir’s favorite punching bag, whenever she doesn’t post Scott content she’s “unrelatable and superficial”.
No, objectively speaking they do not do the same thing at all. Let’s go back to my very first post responding to something written by justtotallyplatonic. Hashtag and I spoke after I posted that. She contacted me first. We had a very direct conversation where I shared every issue I had with the way I felt she and jtp were treating Tessa. She took every criticism I aimed at her (and some were very harsh) calmly. She didn’t call me any names and took responsibility when it was appropriate on some issues and we calmly agreed to disagree on others. She never once attacked me on her blog or called me out publicly. She didn’t send her friends over to harass me. I respect her for that.
You tell me how Chelsea responded. Scroll down to when this first started and you’ll see exactly what I mean. Yes, I was more confrontational with her at first but that does not excuse her or her friends coming after me accusing me of being homophobic. She has not indicated at all that she’s interested in discussing our differences of opinion.
Regarding scottsflow...before I say this I want to make it clear that I do not know her and I have never spoken to her. I only follow her blog and sometimes I agree with her and other times I disagree with her. So from that point of view, the only way I see that she is similar to Chelsea is that she makes some assumptions that she treats as facts and that yes, they do appeal to the shippers viewpoint. I do not always agree with her assumptions, but I always felt that I could comment and call her crazy if I wanted and I would not suffer any retaliation for that. I have NEVER seen her attack another blogger for having a different opinion than she did. I have NEVER seen her engage in or create drama unnecessarily. The only time I’ve ever seen her snap was in response to the abuse she’s received this week from Chelsea’s followers much like everyone else who’s chosen to not believe Scott and Jackie are together. Finally, I am unaware of any situations where she has made up a rumor simply to support her narrative. And I don’t believe she has ever sent her followers off to harass people who question her opinions or a time that she ruthlessly went after another blogger in order to drive that person off of Tumblr and she’s certainly never involved herself in any catfishing scheme. So no, objectively, Scottsflow is nothing like Chelsea. No one is.Â
But just to drive the point home, let’s take a look at how Chelsea has treated Scottsflow, Hashtag and others.Â
That is just a small sampling from the last week or so. I’m sure there’s a bunch more in her archives. I apologize to @fitslikeakey, @scottsflow , @justtotallyplatonic and @hashtagvirtuemoir for posting this trash. But people have her blocked and don’t ever see this crap. I think the whole fandom should have to look at this. But if I post nothing else from here on, isn’t this alone enough reason Chelsea should have been banned from Tumblr a long time ago?
THIS IS THE KIND OF PERSON CHELSEA IS. She hates these bloggers because they challenge her narrative. So, can you think of reasons Chelsea might lie and make up stories just to piss them and the rest of the shippers off? I certainly can.Â
