author’s notes: for valentine’s day i decided to write cheesy drabbles! i’m going to celebrate my lovely friends!! this is inspired by the sweet @lovingonrepeat , this drabble is for you DJ <3
“Did you know you just exude love?” Yuta says randomly as you have your usual ritual of being in each other’s embrace with faint music in the back, just enjoying each other’s warmth.
You laugh at his sudden question. “What?” “I just love you so much, did I tell you how much I love you?” You raise your head and -as expected- he is looking at you lovingly. You nod at him and snuggle up on his chest. “I love you too, do you feel my love?”
“Yes, that’s why I am saying you exude love.” He starts rubbing your back as he explains himself. “The way you hold my hand, how your eyes light up when you rant about your favorite subjects and share your thoughts about it, when you eat your favorite dessert and bring some for me when I’m busy, your messages asking how I’m doing and stuff, I really have a lot to say here.” He giggles and you look up at him again.
“Really? Isn’t that just me being clingy?”
He furrows his eyebrows and stops rubbing your back. “Wait a minute, who said that? Did someone say that to you? Was it in a good way or in a bad way?”
You quickly shake your head laughing at his protective behavior, he would be like that always. He has your back every choice you make- everything you do- Yuta is right beside you. “Me, I just thought about it.”
“Well, I guess I need to teach you a lesson.” He tickles you until you are squealing and trying to escape from his hands, after a good laughter he open his arms and once again you are cuddling, you laying on his chest as you hug his waist and he holds you gently. “You make me feel loved.”
That caught you off guard. There’s no need for you to say anything, he continues. “I really value you talking to me about everything and checking up on me, you don’t even know how grateful I am with you for being such a lovely girlfriend.”
“Uh oh, this is getting cheesy and I’m going to cry if you keep going.” You joke at his serious statement, it felt so heartful it hit just right. If someone can just express deep words full of love, that’s Yuta. You don’t look up this time, you just hug him tighter as you feel him smile through his next words. “I am learning with you by my side how to be more open about my feelings so I’m trying to do something here, miss.”
“But I didn’t say anything.”
“Yes, you did. I heard it through all your words.” He laughs and kisses your forehead before starting a battle of who loves who the most.
