the johnny suh is basically a brand right now,

he is basically what the stereotype of successful means and of course he is looked up to but also strictly followed to not make any mistake. the funny thing about this is not even his parents are controlling him.

family, the directory, entertainment press, friends and investors are always asking and commenting about his life and decide if they help or not his business, the family corporation. it’s not easy but he, of course, does it flawlessly. johnny suh can think in everything except a formal relationship, the last one that he had ended up awfully leaving him in chaos and making him fall into emotional waves of being unable to control himself so it’s out of sight. having fun with people and occasional nights are one thing but involving a total stranger in his life? that’s a big no. he prefers the tag of millionaire and playful better than married and boring.

there’s just a towel around his waist that he accommodates to prevent it from falling, he flexes in front of the mirror as he smirks. well, even if his mind is a fuss right now, his body still looks amazing he thought.

besides losing an important client, he has to be more careful and stop having funny affairs because the potential clients care too much about the moral reputation of the ceo of the company they will make a deal with. so, at least for now, no more one-night stands or anything that can transform in an awful rumor about him.

after changing on his clothes, there’s already five people fired after him answering the message of an important meeting getting cancelled. he furrowed his eyebrows, things are getting really stressful, huh? johnny keeps looking at his phone ignoring the news playing on the screen to see how his stocks are going after letting go an investor, his mind thinking hard and concentrated until the always serious presenter lets out a laugh catching his attention.

he remembers smiling at the tv, a traducer became viral because of getting tongue tied in national television as there were a lot of businessmen talking fast and arguing in many different languages. the traducer inevitably laughs and calms the fuss making the men laugh about it. embarrassing but effective.

 that was the first time looking at those eyes.

 he truly didn’t remember that stare after that, even if she was an interesting and certain attractive woman, his mind didn’t record her face. stress makes him oblivious of everything that don’t involve job.

but the thing he did noticed this afternoon was someone who keep glancing at his way, he came here to have a lunch with the creators and influencers that call themselves the dreamies. he only knew mark from the last campaign, it’s a pleasant surprise he already has a team, that kid has a brilliant future.

after some chatting, laughs and a promise they will meet again, he said goodbye to them, he can convince the directory to trust young and fresh people and give them a juicy contract. that already sounds awesome.

he still feels observed so instead of leaving the now empty table he turns to his left to call the waiter and see who it was. johnny loves making people nervous so this time will be no exception.

you can tell when someone looks at you and then averts their eyes, he quickly notices the nervous woman who looks away and was definitely staring at his table. it’s cute, and it was even cuter to see who the woman was.

a cute one. the dress matches her strawberry daiquiri, it’s kind of classy with a touch of casual, she is probably having an important reunion or at least a formal one where she wants to appear fresh and successful. great choice,

she is an attractive woman because she steals glances from the men around her and the male waiter smiles widely at her because her apparent good manners as she asks something, he can’t really read her lips. better not be the bill because she is not escaping.

johnny smiles because he wants to approach and ask for her number at least, it doesn’t have to be an affair.  his phone vibrates, it’s his mom texting him the name of a matchmaker who will call him later because he must be open to opportunities, the last words of the message make him shake his head. what a lovely mom.

 “i’ll support you whoever you choose, you know that right?”

“i love you so i choose being by your side until i die. i’m a the main hotel right now.”

he texts back and quickly raises his head to go to look for the girl but she’s gone. how did she run away if he’s on the way to the exit? how sneaky, he hums and approaches to the bar because he’ll need some drinks as he expects a long interview with stupid questions from the matchmaker.

 what he didn’t expect though, was the attractive woman stamping her lipstick and her whole body against his figure at the entry of his main luxury hotel.

having her so close not only confirms she is cute.

he saw her before.

on the tv.

the traducer.

his eyes light up to the memory of her making him smile, maybe she has that ability.

“i think i know you.”

the traducer looks up and her eyes look frantic as they wide in slow motion, he wonders if he has made her heart flutter as he holds her by the waist, so she doesn't fall. instead, she just murmurs grabbing his hands to try and pushing him away gently.

“uh, i don’t think so.”

“nice way of saying hi. i meant the staring.”

“i wasn’t! oh dear, am i too obvious? anyways, let me go and we all can forget this.” her conversation is falter as she seems to think a lot, she didn’t deny it. wow, she is bold. cool.

"let go or it's the endgame. if you are planning to report me to the police, please don’t. let’s jut think for this as an embarrassing event." that was really curious, is she actually stalking him? nah. that would be weird because she actually is famous now.

"tell me your name and we'll see." she scoffs at the flirty voice johnny uses and grabs his hands to gently push him away before speaking again. "oh no, you're going to wish never have meeting me."

“what if i don’t?”

that makes him raise an eyebrow, it looks like she is pleading but it also sounded sweet almost like a new way of flirting because she's definitely biting her lower lip. johnny is amused at her face is a mix of anxiousness and mixed emotions when he hears another female calling her.

"y/n!" he looks behind her because that seems like her name considering how she visibly tensed up in his arms. saying he could feel her heartbeat seemed to have increased was the least weird thing she did.

“are you going to pass out… y/n?”

“no, but you are. don’t say i didn’t warn you.” “what-” in a sudden movement, the traducer grabs his hands and pull him close. it quickly grabs people’s attention, it looks like he is hugging her lovingly in front of his main hotel, the one he runs flawlessly. she engulfs in the hug and he can swear someone took a picture.

“mind to tell me what’s going on or are you expecting me to scream?”

“i want to scream too.” his smile falters when she doesn’t let go, he doesn’t like y/n already.

like casual, eventual and never seeing them again kind of relationship because feeling make you act like a fool and that sucks. you also don’t really go out that much so it really happens once in a while.

you don’t really mind your love lifestyle because is almost nonexistent and you love it like that. your parents don’t push too much about it and your close friends just consider you a really busy person.

so bruh, no big deal.

it wasn’t one until today where some high school classmates met you at the hair salon, coincidentally a day before the reunion someone wanted to do after a couple of years.

they approached you asking about your life and how they didn’t know anything about you until your video being everywhere.

you smiled awkwardly and said thanks, after chatting for a bit about their careers, children and partners, the questions directed to you started.

“how are you? i don’t see a wedding ring in your hand, aren’t you married yet?”

“hey, don’t snoop like that! it’s obvious she is single!”

that make you bite your lip to stop yourself from snapping, what the hell? where in your forehead says that? and the most important thing… what’s wrong with being single? you’re going to give a sarcastic remark about being sexy free and single and ready to mingle too, but the next comment makes you think again.

“oh, right. sorry y/n, i didn’t mean to. but it’s not like you got over your crush huh, don’t tell me you are still thinking of yuta? he was your crush like a long time ago! and he is already married!”

the thing you always hated is here after fours years: them talking about yuta everytime they saw you like you are a sad idiot. you smiled to the stylist who told your hair was ready and done, lap you stood up and looked yourself at your mirror. you look good, yes.

time to jab people in the face.

“who says i’m not? i’m married!” you raise your hand and pointed at the ring finger. “my husband decided it was to time to change the ring, so i’m waiting for it. we’re not conservative or traditional.”

the two women seemed shocked, so they quickly started to make some questions because it took their attention, it seemed like a rich man. so you had to make up a white lie of him being a businessman that has to keep his private life lowkey because of how exposed he is.

“but why you didn’t invite us?” they seemed more curios and you wanted to die because they wouldn’t shut up and you neither. luckily, being a traducer you kind of know how a businessman behaves.

“oh, we married with just our families. it was just for us and really romantic and intimate to be honest-” “bring him to the prom meeting!”

“yes, we want to meet him!”

“wait, what?” you laughed awkwardly “i mean… why? isn’t it gonna be weird?”

“everyone is going to take their partners tomorrow there! we want to know him, he seems rich and awesome! i already messaged to the group! we’re so happy for you!”

of course the day of the reunion, there’s no husband coming with you and you meet everyone who quickly gossip about you lying or giving you the benefit of the doubt. dami, the one who organized everything pushed for an answer.

you roll your eyes and laugh at the statement as you look at your phone, searching for an available male friend that can come and save you. the ghost of you being a highschool mess after seeing your crush getting a girlfriend chases you in this circle of fake friends.

dami was your best friend at that time, she knew better than anyone else your crush on the japanese senior, your heart raced since yuta came at your school as a exchange student. four years of a heavy crush and two of a great friendship with him, he tutored you in languages so you could ace more than one and study what you wanted to: being a traducer to travel around the world. it’s on the last year where dami decided to ask him out.

you want to punch people right now, instead of being right now having a long nap with your dog after watching series you are here hearing this stupidity. “are you done? are you really accusing me of being a liar because he couldn’t come?”

“at least call him, show us who he is.” you hate the pressure; in your head you are already slapping dami. thinking quickly, you take out of your bag a little magazine you received in the entry about the hotel.

“are you going to point out randomly a model?” dami laughs at her own statement and you search for the page fourteen because you like that day, especially on february where you get 2 x 1 sales all for you.

luckily for you, a wealthy man is in the whole page smiling brightly showing his limited-edition tuxedo and his really expensive watch. he is definitely a businessman because you heard about him to a few of your clients. His name is in gold letters: johnny suh.

well, he seems like someone you won’t see because your field are everything but hotels. So yeah, that would be your husband for half an hour.

“here. that’s my man.” oh how good it felt dami’s face falling at the sight of a man more powerful than his. “happy? now, let me eat in peace because my husband paid for this meal. Why don’t we all talk about Jessica? No one commented her pretty little bump.”

It worked and everyone eats peacefully after talking about the baby, not paying attention to your flammant husband that seemed too good to be true.

“wait a minute.” Says dami just a few minutes before saying goodbye. “he is the ceo of this hotel chain.”

“johnny suh owns this place. He must be here! Even if he’s busy let’s see him one time!”

Holy crap. You smiled and shrugged.

Dami quickly approaches at the counter. “I want to see the ceo, her wife is my best friend. I want to thank him for the magnific service.”

You are about to hyperventilate.

“you can’t meet the ceo without a previous appointment, ma’am.”

“what? But it’s like being his friend! Why can I not?” Jessica approaches and pull dami away, you looked away. Damn.

“you’re being ridiculous. Let’s go and just do another meeting with our husbands.”

you stayed at the hotel saying you’ll go up to see your hubby, everyone waved goodbye, and you went up to the bar in the last floor, you already came here before and the daiquiri is awesome. Hopefully, the counter miss won’t call security or the ceo telling him some crazy lady is claiming to be his wife. Right?

You question your life decisions and impulsiveness when the daiquiri comes, you smile at the drink that cools down your system. The barman looks at you and you raise an eyebrow.

“aren’t you the famous traducer?” you smiled and nod, what an awful day to be recognized. “you seem to be my boss’ wife too.” You choked. “that’s what your friend said you said.”

by now every worker here must know this and you are going to jail and die there.

“how do you know that? I mean, you’re wrong, that wasn’t me.”

“it must been a really uncomfortable situation to fake something like that. I’ll keep your little white lie between us, I heard it passing by don’t worry” You sighed and laughed when he showed you his pinky to seal the deal of keeping it as a secret. “I don’t think that’s going to be enough though.” He points to the table at your right where there were a bunch of men, one of them pretty similar to the magazine.

Please, someone start an apocalypse, a zombie, an alien anyone.

The barman makes you conversation to calm down your nervous behavior while you can’t keep your gaze away from the man that can humiliate you and accuse you of defamation. After your second daiquiri, his gaze turns to you and you were faster to avoid him.

Oh god, he knows something.

You just want to escape and he is looking at you, after running away from your fake husband you enter the bathroom one more time before leaving the hotel and never coming again.

Until you hear dami’s voice, she is on the toilet talking on the phone how one of her classmates is faking to have a ceo husband. She didn’t leave.

You have to get away from there.

Now.

At this point, you don’t care if she thinks you are a liar.

So you run for your life, you are really close to the entry when a big and very tall figure stops you.

That’s it, your little white lie is going to be the death of you. You deny everything and try to get away quickly, he… flirts? You want to laugh and cry at the same time, if he only knew you are already married in some parallel universe.

“y/n!” dami calls your name seeing you close to the ceo, you hug him. He tenses up and you wonder if jail food is good.

You are not going to get any job after this neither.

“johnny?” a female voice calls him and gets him out of the awkward situation he is right now, he couldn’t just push the traducer away. He would look like an asshole, he could treat her as a fan, or something like that, but not when his mom smiles at her.

“you should have told me she was the reason you didn’t want to see a matchmaker.”
