A creamy and tasty dip made with spices and melted white American cheese.
Ingredients: 1 lb white American cheese, shredded. 1/2 cup milk. 1 4 oz can diced green chilies. 1/2 teaspoon cumin. 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper. 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/4 teaspoon onion powder. Salt and pepper to taste. Chopped fresh cilantro for garnish optional.
Instructions: In a saucepan, heat milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling. Reduce heat to low and gradually stir in shredded white American cheese until melted and smooth. Stir in diced green chilies, cumin, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly. Transfer to a serving bowl, garnish with chopped cilantro if desired, and serve hot with tortilla chips.
