Alright I’m going on a rant here. First off, what the fuck Emmerdale and your shit writing??? One week you have Robert telling Aaron that he would have stayed and died with him in the car, proposing to him, and telling him that he wants to spend the rest of his life with him, and then a few weeks later you have him cheat??? Yes. Cheat. Because that’s what he fucking did. He didn’t push her away, didn’t tell her to back off, didn’t even mention the reason it wasn’t going to happen between them is because he’s engaged - fucking ENGAGED - to Aaron. I know Robert’s past character was a selfish asshole who only thinks of himself, but not when it comes to Aaron. He’s supposed to be selfless when it comes to the man he loves and that’s how you’ve been writing it, but now you’ve returned him to being a cheating twat.
I’ve always found ways to defend Robert’s character because he’s reformed. Not now. I can’t excuse this writing of his character. I’m at the point where I want Aaron to tell Robert to fuck off. Be done with him and move on to someone who will be faithful and honest with him. Cheating is one of the worst things a person can do, second is to lie about cheating. If you do it at least be fucking honest, but Robert’s not even going to do that. Aaron deserves better. Robert deserves to be kicked in the fucking balls.

No I haven’t cheated. Wanna know why? Because I love him. And because we both knew what we got into when I made the decision to leave. And because sex is not the primary force of our relationship. Also I wouldn’t be able to live with myself, I wouldn’t be able to forgive myself. And he has had enough disappointment in his life. He doesn’t need me to break his heart. I don’t want to break it. I don’t feel the slightest urge to do it. I don’t understand people who would put someone through this kind of pain and disrespect. I won’t cheat on him because I love him. And if being away from him for 18 months makes us even more sure of our relationship then so be it.
