Survived the first two weddings of the week...
Just came back from my brother-in-law's chassene; he made chassene for his daughter. I first went to say 'mazel tov' at another Chassene (meaning: saying 'mazel tov' for the chusson & family, eating a bit, and most of all to dance), and then I went to my brother-in-law's chassene. These were the first two chassenes of this week.
(Picture is only for illustration and has nothing to do with tonight's chassenes)
The chusson, whose family I also happen to be very close with, is an enikel (descendant) of the Magid of Mezritch zt"l, and I'm sure the magid is very proud of him. He's such a wonderful bucher yingerman, mamesh a tzadik.Â
There is truly nothing better and more enjoyable than to see the joy on a chusson's face and to dance at his simche.Â
May we all only have Yiddishe simches!Â
