Idk i just kinda feel like the fanon interpretation of him gets it backwards. It’s not that he wants Yuuji because of Kaorijaku.

He accepts Kaorijaku because of how desperately he wants Yuuji. Because, ya know, pregnancy can kill people, if Kaorijaku was his highest priority to a ridiculously obsessive degree he probably would’ve just adopted a kid?

I do think he was obsessed with Kaori but i feel like he in some way knew that Kenny wasn’t his wife. Getting a child from her body was probably the last connection he could get to his real deceased wife. His mental instability and grief probably made it easier to just deny that he was doing something so horrifying to his wife’s corpse. If Kenny is Kaori then there is nothing weird about how far he goes to get his baby.

But what if Gojou fully does not give a shit about that

Like what if it started before the basement era. Gojou is already into Yuuji right from the start. And the second he sees even a flicker, even the Tiniest Hint of interest back from Yuuji, he jumps at the chance

Imagine Yuuji just... Getting a sneaky look at Gojou's ass while he's bending down or squatting or something. Totally innocent. He's picking up a stack of books. But of course even though his back is turned Gojou sees it. Asks Yuuji if he likes what he sees. When Yuuji gets flustered and starts blushing he's crowding him against the wall and as soon as Yuuji admits that yeah he does like it, Gojou is kissing him hot and hard and waaaay too much

The only thing that stops him from trying to fuck Yuuji right there in the middle of the school is that there's supposed to be a class soon. But you know he's picking that back up right away after, appearing in Yuuji's dorm...

Then the basement era happens and Yuuji knows right away what Gojou wants. Because they've already been doing it

It was around age 7 that Yuuji fully gave up on being a wallflower and accepted he was always gonna be looked at as a zoo animal. People just couldn’t help staring when you stuck out so sorely.

He didn’t resent it. But he also didn’t want any extra attention. So when he noticed his eyes drifting from the plush softness of a porn actress to the trim waist and muscled thighs of a faceless guy thrusting into her, he kept it to himself.

Of course it was Gojou-sensei that noticed first.

For the first time he completely understood all his classmates that stared in disturbed fascination at his unusually defined muscles and naturally soft pink hair. There was just so much to look at with Gojou-sensei. His towering height, the broadness of his shoulders, the glossy lips quirked up in playful smiles.

The one time he saw him wear clothes other than his work uniform Yuuji’s heart skipped a beat.

‘This must be how those victorian men felt after seeing an ankle. Collarbones…..’

Sensei has maybe kinda probably definitely maybe noticed. Maybe.

But other times it’s like i’m suffering through an admittedly kinda funny silly little sitcom scene, so the dissonance is just kinda weird. For example I keep forgetting that i’ve already bought pesto and since i use at most only 1 jar per month my pesto hoard just keeps growing. Like there’s at least 8 little jars spread around my kitchen.

In other news: i figured out the idea i’m going to use for the yuugo came back wrong fic~ my council of yaoi advisors sounded very excited for it when i chatted with em bout it 😈
