Getting here with his mother was a colossal step forward in the quest to take down his father, again. He knew that it was a big ask from her to let him in on whatever she and Buster had planned, but Scamp had taken it as a sign that she trusted him now more than ever. This was the safest way to do things: Scamp was going to find a way to get involved in their plans whether they liked it or not, but at least he knew now how he could best help them. Of course, he had no interest in letting his sisters in on what he was up to, but it seemed like that was thankfully unspoken between him and his mother.
It was after hours, with just the three in Buster's office. Not even Angel knew that he was coming, though he had heard a rumor that she was spending Atta, of all people, all of a sudden. He decided it best to keep that part to himself, leaving the personal questions unsaid as they finally took a seat. "Thanks, um, for letting me come. I appreciate it," Scamp began, breaking the silence with his rehearsed bit of gratitude. Scamp wasn't sure how they proceeded after the introductions and small talk, or if there even was any. @ladylilah @nohousedog
