Name is pigeon, and I go by she/her, this is a blog centered around the 3 clans living in Nebula, ShoreClan, DeltaClan and TalusClan, following clangen, with inspiration from @bonefall.

This is supposed to be casual, experimental and mostly fun. Feel free to spam like, comments, reblogs. Feel free to ask questions about anything, to the character or to me.

Story:

Snowkit was always told it was a miracle they were alive. Whenever the medicine cats tried to elaborate, they were shooed away by Cavernwhisper--not wanting her beloved kit to know of death so early. She spoiled her only surviving kit, born despite all the odds being stacked against them--whatever they wanted, she’d get, and whatever she felt they didn’t feel ready to know, she kept secret. Snowkit was never in trouble, and was such a good kit! They loved being called a good kit.

And then, they got a fun idea once they became an apprentice. They were able to leave camp now, right? Why not take their friends out to play? Surely there’s no harm in it!

Canyonkit and his siblings were eager to see the outside early, and stifling their giggles, the kits snuck out with Snowpaw to go see Chasmclan’s caverns. They lost track of them in one of the mineshafts, but eventually found Canyonkit laying on the ground--he must’ve gotten tired and fallen asleep! 

Silly Canyonkit. 

So they brought Canyonkit with them in search of the other two kits, eventually finding them asleep as well. So they sneakily brought them back to their mother, and hurried back into the apprentices’ den so they could wake up to play again tomorrow.

Yet, they woke up to an uproar in the nursery, and the three kits were gone. That’s weird… Maybe they went out to play again! They’ll return later, they were sure. Jackdawkit was envious of their little adventure, and Snowpaw didn’t want any of his friends to feel left out! So he brought Jackdawkit out into the territory, careful not to disturb his sleeping siblings. The two played throughout the day, but Snowpaw was too nimble in their game of tag--jumping over a ledge that Jackdawkit was too small to follow. He fell down, and Snowpaw laughed and laughed! Jackdawkit stayed there--probably upset by how funny Snowpaw found it--and Snowpaw figured he knew the way back by himself, so they went home.

Finally, Hickorykit was looking bored. So they offered to take her on their adventures! She seemed a bit nervous, but agreed so she could get ahead of her friends on learning the territory. 

So out the two went! 

But while Snowpaw was trying to get Hickorykit to play tag with them, they suddenly felt a sharp pain in their neck and someone--Briarblossom?--was screaming to get away from their daughter. They felt tired, so instead of crying from how much it hurt, they decided to be a big apprentice and sleep it off.

--Their warrior name would definitely be Snowfox or Snowyip, due to their foxlike appearance.

--Cavernwhisper and Briarblossom had one hell of a screaming match once Briar and Hickory got back to camp with Snow’s body.

--Snowpaw’s scent is hard to distinguish from their Clanmates, being the only reason they didn’t get caught.

--Yet another song based oc from Umbra! This one is based off of The Good Child and The Fox Spirit by Kikuo.

--Doesn’t realize that they died, so they’re wandering around the Dark Forest trying to explore and play with the residences, thinking that they’re cats from the other Clans in their home, and calling out for their mother only to be confused when she doesn’t arrive. Very kitlike in personality, basically.

--Has been missing their right eye from birth. Constantly squinting because their eyes are sensitive to sunlight.

--Would get along with Magpie, who also caused kits to die by taking them out of the camp, not realizing how dangerous it is--at least if they ever realize they’re in the DF.

-Oceanclan, as mentioned, has two camps. They have an age-long agreement with Grottoclan and Marshclan that during particularly bad Leafbares and high-tide, they go up to the high-tide camp and stick there until things get better. This agreement has been around since the start of the clans, back when they were first made.

-Instead of the clans being named after their leaders, they're all named after their territories. Each of the first leaders actually had a TITLE rather then an actual name. Grottoclan had The Huntress, Marshclan had The King, Chasmclan had The Guide, Oceanclan had The Angler, Brookclan had The Sentinel, and Fieldclan had The Wanderer. I figured it added an air of mystery to these cats, rather then making them Grottostar, Marshstar, etc etc. They've all actually gotten the -star suffix from the first cat to enter Starclan, Star River as a way of honoring it's memory.

-Grottoclan actually teaches meditation to their cats! They believe a steady mind is very important to survival, and will teach their clanmates how to take a moment and breathe, then return with a steady head.

-Grottoclan also has the equivalent of the Moonstone in their territory- The Star Tree, a giant tree with twisting roots. This tree is probably one of the oldest things in the island tbh.

-in Everlasting Lands, the clans came to be from an awful disaster causing most humans to leave the island and cats banding together to survive. The island itself is actually barely inhabited by humans anymore, with only small towns along the coastline- In fact, there's an entire abandoned twolegplace near Oceanclan's territory. Oftentimes, apprentices will dare each other to sneak out and explore the abandoned twolegplace, as normally they're forbidden to go there- But after an incident where it led to an attack on Oceanclan camp by some rogues, this didn't really happen anymore.

-I literally have an 18 page timeline just talking about everything that happens from the start of Everlasting Lands to where it is currently in my brainspace. Help.

Events:

- Elvis, Bumble and Lynx’ Roar get a message from a starry pelted cat, indicating that they have to go to the archipelago. Danger is nearby.

- The Predecessors are almost gone (Lynx's Roar is part of em’).

- There is something (??? Still unsure about this one, spirit, or another animal, multiple rats???) That has been getting rid of the cats, and most of the creatures of this place.

- All of them join together to get rid of it.

- Afterwards the place is immediately nicer, the Predecessors invite Elvis and Bumble to join them.

- As the archipelago quickly grows rich in environment, the whole group explores the place with joy.

- The groups get made, Elvis with the elders near the lake, Bumble gets some rogues and other kittypets to gather near the lighthouse, and Lynx's Roar gets most of the other Predecessors to keep in the forest.

- They talk about Nebula and the stars. As honorary names, they get called Whitetuft Star, Bumble's Star and Lynx's Roar Star.

- TIME PASSES, Whitetuft and Morning Frost have a kit, Winter Cloud. Due to the rest of the group still being elders, he becomes some sort of leader, they call him Cloud Star.

- One of the rogue/loners kit, Owlflight, gets some visions with the starry pelted cat again, but this time there are more of them, and they seem to be trapped? But waiting. Cloud, Bumble and Lynx believe it's another sign of danger. It's not.

- Following instincts and spirits, Owlflight finds the first Moon Sanctuary.

- They called the starry pelted cats The Ancients/The Comets

- Owlflight becomes the first augur.

- Another TIME SKIP. The groups are still friendly with each other, really close, almost no boundaries.

- Winter Cloud Star picks one of his kits as next leader. Pale Light. As a way of honoring his father. This is what starts the precedent of Monarchs having to be descendants of Whitestar. Newt is the voice of the group in the beach, and Salamander's Tail is the one giving orders in the forest.

- More augurs have appeared, and they continue to communicate with The Comets. The new leaders have a hard time believing them, as they haven't seen one of those starry cats.

- Newt and Salamander's Tail get injured after a big predator enters the territory they share. It seems to be fatal. Junco, one of the augurs that gets the idea to bring them to the Sanctuary.

- The first nine lives ceremony is held, when past spirits offer part of their souls for these cats to continue living.

- The explanation for this, nine lives means that each leader gets 3 lives. This is done by transporting their soul into The Comets’ plane. Three cats that have a special connection with the leader then take a piece of their soul, in exchange for one of themselves. Something specific, kindness, pride, strength. That thing is shared with the leader, memories, emotions and everything.

- Each time the leader dies, the souls get exchanged again, keeping them alive.

- They also get the honorary title of Star. Pale Star, Newt's Star, and Salamander's Star.

- TIME SKIP

- The territory has gotten richer, humans have moved in, larger animals too. The groups have also gotten bigger. Tensions have risen. The first boundaries are set.

- Kits get named for the first time when they are born.

- TIME SKIP

- DeltaClan, ShoreClan, and TalusClan get their names.

- Various soon to be leaders from DeltaClan are killed due to no one knowing who goes next. Rule for Deputies is Implemented.

- The divisions of warriors, guards, healers, seers, knights, etc is established.

- Apprentices are named Paws, after their hard work.

- TIME SKIP

- First big conflict occurrs, a lot of apprentices die due to being too young. Rule of Six Moons is Implemented.

- A parent has their kits die due to ForestClan refusing to help them for recent conflict. Rule of Aid is Implemented.

- TIME SKIP

- DeltaClan gets in more trouble. Milkfurs are killed by rivals if they know they are carrying kits from Whitestar's bloodline. Or from outsiders blood. After another battle, the Rule of Milkfurs is Implemented.

- TIME SKIP

- Rockstar kills the Prophet.

- The First Moon Sanctuary is destroyed in a landslide.

- Mantiseye finds The Second Moon Sanctuary.

- TIME SKIP

- Conflict arises and goes, like a circle.

- TIME SKIP

- Tiny, Softwind and Fruitbeetle's time.

- TIME SKIP

- Rule of Healers is implemented.

- TIME SKIP

- War, again.

- Kestrelsong's (may change name) daughter, Fireflywing dies defending the Moon Sanctuary. The augur goes mad at this.

- They destroy the Second Sanctuary while repeatedly torturing and killing various cats over three years.

- They try to bring their daughter back from the dead by using Ravenwing's body as a vessel.

- They die.

- The Clans realise what has happened. The Rule of Celibacy for Augurs is Implemented.

- The Clans agree to Peace.

She wanted to see her more. Now she only has gatherings and holidays.
