I have done a lot of kind of crazy things over the years, and I’ve done my fair share of traveling to see shows (specifically last year), but a year ago today I did possibly my craziest thing yet. On a bit of a whim I got up at 5 a.m. and drove from Salt Lake to L.A. to go to the Final Show™️ of the first solo tour of Harry Styles. I almost immediately drove straight back after the show (I took a 2 hour nap in a shady motel) so I could be back to take my nephew to Lagoon on the 16th (it’s tradition!). It was by far the most amazing concert I have ever been to. The energy in that room was beyond anything I have ever experienced (it’s been a year and I still don’t have the words for it) and I have so many happy memories from that whole experience. And while I can’t think of that drive (both stretches) without getting nauseous I would do it again, a thousand times over.

1,400 miles, 36 hour adventure, 3 “Kiwi”s, 2 beautiful sunrises, 1 unforgettable show.
