6/17/2019 6.80 miles/10.94 kilometers Chase the moon! YTD: 437.03 miles
Today was the Ragnar Chase the Moon challenge - a call for any and all Ragnarians and other interested runner to band together to run a combined distance of 20 times around the moon. I did my part by running slightly over the required amount of 6.7 miles. I would’ve done it all in one go (at night, right at the stroke of 9pm like a good Ragnarian) but honestly the 6ish mile routes I know suck for night running, I don’t know (offhand) any 7ish mile routes, and I couldn’t be bothered to run my 5 mile route AND THEN another 2ish or so after looping back to my house. So, treadmill it was. Plus it gave me a chance to - you guessed it - start some lifting again.
I forgot to snap a pic during my brief treadmill run and didn’t bring my phone (or headphones) for my night run so you get a “I just got back from my run and am about to strip off these sweaty clothes in my basement” selfie.
I had a moment earlier when I realized I was supposed to have received my Chase the Moon swag prior to June 17th. I had not. I checked my debit card to find the transaction - snd I couldn’t find anything. I checked my post history to see when I posted the challenge here because I was pretty sure I signed up when I posted it - June 5. Nothing remotely around June 5.

I couldn’t find where to pay for it anywhere. But then I checked my credit card transactions and sure enough there it was. I still don’t have my sweet, sweet swag. YET.
