cold-ass take here but i think we could use a few: ‘good’ taps fill me with nothing but the purest of rage. like no, actually, if it broke my combo — thus robbing me of potential rewards gained by having said combo — then that’s not good, actually! that is, in fact, very bad! and then i’ll continue to lose my entire combo and have to redo the whole song from the start because of even one of those damned taps being recorded!!!!! it pisses me off to no end, i hate you good taps, they’ll never make me like you >:( >:( >:(
.
In each double tap note, there should be one of them colored blue and the other colored yellow. This should be done to clearly tell the player that those are two tap notes and not one big tap note. Otherwise it makes chart reading very difficult, especially if it’s fast paced, especially on higher difficulties. And it will also double the amount of MISS that you get. A chart without this clear indication can never be a good and enjoyable
Another chart take ?!
Another chart take!!
idk if this necessarily counts as a hot take and i'm going off anon because I actually want to have a civil discussion about it but...
I don't like Append.
Maybe it's because I'm a new player, and it would make sense for it to be so, but I genuinely don't like it. The charts are eye straining, and while practice is important, the whole "three or four notes at the same time" thing really leaves an entire part of the game inaccessible for people with small screens and/or the inability to play with their index fingers. It was a great idea in concept, being able to play a song in full instead of the shortened game version, but I think they should have had it as more of a separate setting or subset of difficulties rather than a "ooh look a chart more difficult than Master 😱" sort of thing. I guess I just want to be able to play the full version of songs without getting ACTUAL carpal tunnel.
Any other opinions on this?
.
I really dislike the fact that Ena5 master is going to be 25 lvl. It makes passion at ****twenty five**** being a lvl 25 master lose its speciality. That master level was reserved for that song! Because it’s in the name! And it’s the focus of nightcord’s leader! Just because they composed a song so slow and mellow does not mean they get to interrupt my favorite game gimmick

i find it weird that evil food eater conchita is like. "harder" than the other evillous songs in pjsk
idk. not thay i have a problem.with it i just find that detail odd
.
The song levels are so incorrect, kiss the villain on master is WAY higher than it should be from an objective pov if you were able to unlock it, I also think the size of the notes should be counted in difficulty bcz there's way too many low level master songs that r harder than high level ones for including those tiny ahh notes!!
.
Bake no Hana is a good song to progress the plot, with a lot of details and care put into the lyrics, but it’s not a song I would want to play in a rhythm game, and it’s definitely not in the top Nightcord Songs (when it comes to how good the song is musically)
