Prompt 19 for Charlie and Daniel?
19. Another credit card?!
“Char, have you seen the new credit card?” If Daniel had actually lost that card, the third that month, Director Fury was going to have his head. His girlfriend raised a single eyebrow in his direction and he knew what she was asking. “I might, might, have lost another one.” He mumbled, hopefully not loud enough for her to hear but luck was not on his side.
“Are you serious, Daniel? Another credit card?!” The lawyer sounded exasperated and incredilous. One would think that someone working for a secret organization would be more careful with his things. “You know what? I don’t even want to know, I’ll help you look.”
Daniel let out a sigh of relief, where he was good at loosing things, Charlie was good at finding them. “You are amazing.” He settles his hands in her waist and leans down to kiss her.
She closes her eyes and leans into the kiss before breaking it. “I know.” The brunette gives him a quick peck before leaving his arms to go look for the credit card. “Now get to work.” With her back turned to him, Daniel smiled and briefly patted his pocket, feeling the relatively small box in it. He was going to marry that woman.
