Helen knows Chari isn't dead, but it feels like she sorta is.
Notes: written for day 2 of minor characters week! focused on one (Well kind of two) of chari's workers.
please note that while there's nothing explicit about this in the fic, there is an implicit concern surrounding rape/sexual abuse.
heart of gold and chari's story makes me.... really frustrated bc i don't think it could have been less senstively handled if they tried, tbh. this isn't in her voice because i feel a fic from her perspective would need to be a lot longer and take a lot of time and care, but i wanted to write something from the perspective of helen as a friend in the aftermath.
