Charcoal Rabbit Tales Season 01 Episode 01: The Century of Sadness (Script) Part. 1
I was against doing this for a long time. Releasing my would-be comic in script form before I finished it. Iâve had a bit of a rough time with this comic to say the least. FireAlpaca stopped working, my laptop got repaired, and I moved houses. That series of unfortunate events have led me to shelve the comic for the time being until I can get back into the right headspace. Thereâs also that thing where ID Age Verification invaded the internet, it still is with Minecraft and Discord as of 1-27-2026, that played a factor. (This ID panic made me pull my Patreon offline because I was afraid of it impacting it and preventing any chance of me making money there. I didnât want myself or my could-be supporters to be cheated out of money. It also made me feel like my social media posting career was being forcefully shut down.)
There was a breach of IDs on Discord so youâd think theyâd pull back and understand this age verification thing wouldnât work. But noooo, theyâre gonna do it anyway. Iâm so glad I deleted my Discord account when I did. I donât think youâre bad for having a Discord account, I just feel better about myself knowing Iâm not there to experience the storm to come.
BrendanDoesArt has been releasing his scripts for his multi-page comics on his Deviantart page. Theyâve been met with good reception. I even read some of his work before he published them, and gave some suggestions too. I like to say that Iâm a creative consultant of the script. (Like those movie script readers who leave script notes and suggestions when proofreading.)
Thinkgreen, PizzaWolf, and M. (one of my high school friends I talk to sometimes) Iâd send them my scripts to read. I want to credit M. in particular because if not for him, Iâd never have one of the characters get a more prominent role than originally written. Even though my script changed dramatically since then, Iâd still like to thank them anyway for reading a version of my script.
My questions to you are, would you want to read more after this? What would you change? Could this work as a comic? Do I have the writing skills for such a journey? Would you buy a copy if it was made into a comic?
I wrote this pilot coming off of my older brother and his baby kids living with me for a year and a half. My fear of my life being uprooted and irreversibly messed up. Going through a time where so much was changing so soon, I just didnât know how to handle the situation but Iâm okay now. If my older brother is reading this, I love you, I hope youâre doing well, and thanks for living with me.
This pilot originally started as a multi-part origin story going over Charcoal and Clawsonâs birth and to their high school years. I changed it to this which was originally written to be the last part of the saga because trying to establish everything in one go would be boring and wouldnât sell books. So the origins of their genetic modifications are acknowledged but not the main focus. Some of the parts of this origin saga were repurposed into future episodes that stand on their own. The only time we see the baby versions of Charcoal and Clawson is in a flashback to put into perspective how long theyâve been friends with their childhood friends in later episodes.
Visually, Iâm imagining Akira, Cyberpunk 2077, Fallout, and Blade Runner for future scenes. The present, 1960s Marvel Comics, manga, Looney Tunes, Disney, public domain stuff, and Hanna-Barbera cartoons. Humans are to be drawn realistically (Like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs or Akira) with the animals being done cartoony.
I could say so much more, but weâll be here forever. Please enjoy this script.
Set it to mature because of the blood being sucked out of the Burrowvues and that scene where Charcoal gets crushed by the tank. (Even if thereâs major gore visible.) Also Clawson strapped to the table with the needles and cables play a factor into this, better safe than sorry.
The comic isnât happening right now, at least not in the way I originally wrote it.
Looking at this now, the comic being shelved feels like a blessing in disguise since Iâve ended up rewriting the script with a good chunk sliced off. From 52 to 38 pages.
An asterisk (*) with a number next to it connected to a commentary piece I have to say about a scene or scenes. Saving them for the end to not get in the way of the story at hand. Recommended you read them after the script so you can avoid spoilers.

[Play Suspense Strike]
SFX: RRRAGH!!!
Panel 2: Charcoal pats his closed belly happily and lets out a burp.
CHARCOAL: Urrrp! Excuse me.
[Resume Bikini Bottom - Jelly Fields from Spongebob Squarepants: Supersponge by Matt Simmonds from the PS1]
Panel 3: Charcoal walks out the door.
Panel 4: Charcoal is at a bus stop waiting for his school bus. He also shows the camera his phone with a picture of his dad and grandpa on it. *03
CHARCOAL: Hi, Iâm Charcoal Arber Rabbit. Not to be confused with my dad or grandpa. My family has a thing with naming their first son, Charcoal. Honoring the legacy of an ancestor? Iâll likely never know.
Page 03
Panel 1: Charcoal happily walking down a high school hallway with a gray rabbit girl dressed in orange. (More on her in another episode.) *04
CHARCOAL (NARRATION): Iâm just your nice genetically modified rabbit living the best life ever. Iâm doing well in school, and I have good friends.
Panel 2: Kashbear in the form of a monstrous spider-bear scaring Coyoyo away from Charcoal. *05
CHARCOAL (NARRATION): Some of which are demons. These demons live to scare mortals, give them fears and take their fears. But theyâre good sports to me and anyone whoâs nice.
Panel 3: Charcoal showing a picture on his phone of his brother Clawson.
CHARCOAL: This is my twin brother Clawson. Yes, heâs a cat. My dad has a few cat genes in the family. Mom and Dad divorced and each took one of us when we were 5.
Panel 4: Charcoal shows a picture of himself with his mom.
CHARCOAL: I got my momâŠ
Panel 5: Clawson is at the front door brought home by a cop and Coal is pissed with him. The cop has a golden ring like a headband around his head with his uniform and hat made of blue energy. Heâs holding a spray paint can. Clawson has a smug toothy smile on his face, basically playing the innocent card.
TANGENT: Changed from a shot of Charcoal with a notebook so I could better paint a picture of Clawson as a mean but lovable kid with a history of delinquency.
CHARCOAL: âŠand he got my dad. I also moved out of my hometown with mom, heâs still there.
CHARCOAL: Iâd love to tell you more, like that time me, Clawson, and some friends caught a leprechaun. But thatâs off-topic here.
Page 04
Panel 1: Charcoal at a park with his friends.
CHARCOAL (NARRATION): I believe youâre here to read a story and learn a few life lessons from it. My life was pretty much perfect in every way. I go to school, hang out with friends,
Panel 2: Charcoal in blue and purple armor with a golden ring around his head like a headband. He also has blue wings made of pure energy on his back.
CHARCOAL (NARRATION): and Iâm also a superhero. Iâm called a Blue Angel. I protect people from danger and bring people to safety.
CHARCOAL (NARRATION): But this isnât a superhero origin story, anyone can do that. My brotherâs a Blue Diablo with horns, keep this in mind. I wouldnât write this if this wasnât relevant.
Panel 3: Charcoal shows a drawing of a biblically-accurate angel that leads the Blue Angels and Diablos. *06
CHARCOAL (NARRATION): Iâm part of a special holy police force led by a biblically-accurate angel. Equal parts cool and creepy.
Panel 4: Charcoal drawing pictures.
CHARCOAL (NARRATION): I also draw because I have a dream of becoming a comic artist.
Panel 5: Charcoal eating stuff.
CHARCOAL (NARRATION): I eat stuff.
Panel 6: Charcoal in bed.
CHARCOAL (NARRATION): Finally I go to bed, rinse and repeat.
Panel 7: An establishing shot of Charcoalâs house.
CHARCOAL (NARRATION): But one day, it all changed. This is where the story really begins. This comic is about family and its importance, you know like Despicable Me, Star Wars, The Lion King, and Game of Thrones. *07

Panel 1: Blairyâs cell phone is ringing.
CAPTION: October 14, 2022
Panel 2: Blairy talks to the phone.
BLAIRY: Hello?
BLAIRY: Ooh, hello Kris.
CHARCOAL (NARRATION): Kris is my older half-brother. The truth is that most of my siblings are half-siblings. Clawsonâs the only brother whoâs 100% related to me despite being a cat.
Panel 3: Blairy reacting to the bad news.
BLAIRY: Yes⊠yes⊠okay, Iâll let them know.
Panel 4: Charcoal and his younger siblings Benedict and Lois are sitting on a couch with Blairy speaking to them about the phone call.
BLAIRY: Iâve received a call from Kris and something unfortunate happened.
Page 06
Panel 1: Charcoal and Blairy discuss the situation.
BLAIRY: Kris and Heidi moved out of their apartment back up North.
CHARCOAL: Were they evicted?
BLAIRY: No, theyâre unable to make enough money to sustain themselves.
CHARCOAL: Where are they gonna go to live now?
Panel 2: Charcoal and Blairy still discussing.
BLAIRY: Theyâre gonna move here.
CHARCOAL: You mean like move into an apartment in our town and probably visit periodically?
BLAIRY: No, theyâre gonna move into this house with us.
Panel 3: Charcoal is visibly shaken.
[Play Glass Shattering Sound Effect]
[Play Requiem Mass in D Minor, K. 626: III. Lacrimosa by Mozart]
BLAIRY: Youâll have to move into Benâs bedroom and sleep with him again for them.
CHARCOAL (NARRATION): Mom saying that this was âunfortunateâ news was an understatement to me.
Panel 4: Flashback to Charcoal covering his ears while Ben and Lois are fighting. *08
CHARCOAL (NARRATION): In Arizona before this, I was glad to have my own bedroom. I didnât want to deal with the noise and drama they caused. Clawson doesnât live with me but I envy him for that.
Panel 5: Flashback to Charcoal covering his ear while with Kris. His nephew and niece are crying.
CHARCOAL (NARRATION): I like my nephew and niece. But I hate the sounds of babies crying. Thatâs enough to convince me I donât want kids of my own. At least not yet.
Panel 6: Charcoal sleeping in a bedroom at his dadâs place with Clawson. Theyâre both happy.
CHARCOAL (NARRATION): The only siblings I didnât mind sharing rooms with were Kris (Before kids) and Clawson. Clawson makes bad choices but heâs good when Iâm there. Kris was never annoying like my younger siblings.
Page 07
Panel 1: Charcoal is looking very sad. Heâs trying to hold back the tears. Blairy is sympathizing with Charcoal.
BLAIRY: Itâs a big change, I know itâs so sudden and that it'll throw you off. If I could make it so you had your own place, I would. But we have to make sacrifices to help others sometimes, even family.
Panel 2: Charcoal is in his bedroom crying his eyes out with his face on his bed. Needless to say, he isnât taking the news very well.
CHARCOAL (MUFFLED): WAHHHH HA HA HA!
Panel 3: Charcoal receives a phone call from his brother Clawson.
Panel 4: Clawson facetimes him. Clawson is at a house party. A splitscreen show, people are having fun and living it up in the background of Clawsonâs shot. Charcoalâs eyes are raining with tears and snot is coming out of his nose.
CHARCOAL: Hello Clawson.
CLAWSON: Charlie, Iâm so sorry about Kris coming over and you losing your bedroom.
CHARCOAL: I donât know what to do. My way of life is basically over! Thereâs no room for myself anymore.
Panel 5:
CLAWSON: Is there anything I can say or do to make you feel better?
CHARCOAL: I wish! I moved out of Eneldaopolis, FOR THIS! Waa ha ha ha ha!
Page 08
Panel 1: Clawson ends the phone call. Right at a point where the party is getting busted.
POLICE: EVERYONE ON THE GROUND!
CLAWSON: Sorry to cut the moment short, but I have to go. See ya. Call back when you feel better.
Panel 2: Kashbear, Boulder, Mr. Maney, and Wayland are comforting him. Kashbear in particular isnât as sympathetic because he thinks Charcoal is overreacting and being a weenie.
KASHBEAR: Char, I understand things are hard right now. But youâve been crying for 3 hours. Thereâs only so much we can feel sorry for.
Panel 3: Charcoal gets an idea. Heâs desperate to make it so they donât have to move in.
CHARCOAL: Is it possible to use your guysâ magic stuff to make it so that Kris wonât move in with us?
KASHBEAR: ABSOLUTELY NOT!
CHARCOAL: Why?!
Panel 4: Kashbear explains why he and the demons canât just flip a switch and give Charcoal what he wants. *09
KASHBEAR: Itâs too intensive to get him a job and have them stay in Eneldaopolis, even for us. Tens of people would need to be mind controlled. The contracting that needs to be done in Hell.
Panel 5: Kashbear continues.
KASHBEAR: Small stuff, fine. Big stuff, an issue. Satan will want your soul for that to happen. Kris coming could be a good learning experience for you, take time to be a good uncle.
Panel 6: Charcoal cries harder in his pillow. Wayland and Boulder try to say stuff to get Charcoal out of the dumps to seemingly no avail.
CHARCOAL: (Muffled Sobbing)
WAYLAND: The world doesnât revolve around you, Soldier. Your family having a home is a more pressing matter.
BOULDER: Itâs not a drought, thingsâll fill up if you let it fill up.
Page 09
Panel 1: Kashbear suggests leaving Charcoal alone to stew in his frustration.
KASHBEAR: Letâs go, Iâm sure Charcoal will calm down and drop the act, eventually. He always does.
WAYLAND: Like that time someone ruined his milkshake. He called them an eggsucker and cried for 30 minutes.
Panel 2: Charcoal sees his Fear Demons leave.
Panel 3: Charcoal gets mad and decides to take matters into his own hands.
CHARCOAL: If no oneâs gonna back me up, Iâll just get my own place. Iâm almost an adult, then Iâll have my place that nobody can take away from me.
[End Requiem Mass in D Minor, K. 626: III. Lacrimosa by Mozart.]
Panel 4: Charcoal reads the rulebook of being a Blue Angel.
CHARCOAL (THINKING): I want my own space, but I canât legally leave home without an adult and Iâm not allowed to live in Hell as Iâm not dead, living in Hell with my friends is out.
Panel 5: Charcoal sneaks into his Fear Demonâs domain to Waylandâs Time-Traveling Tank. Heâs looking at his power ring.
Panel 6: Charcoal inside of the tank. The power ring is showing a hologram screen. An idea clicks in Charcoalâs head.
CHARCOAL (THINKING): My power ringâs an old version, when I teleport to different realms, itâll take days or until I get back to where I was on Earth for the tracker on it to sync again.
Page 10
Panel 1: The tank flies into a portal.
CHARCOAL (THINKING): Needless to say, I have a loophole. I can just portal to and from my new house to make them basically one place technically. My own space, technically at home, and nobodyâs the wiser.
Panel 2: Charcoal decides where to go on his flight. Charcoal doesnât see the time travel screen in the machine reading 100 years into the future. I want that particular detail visible to show that Charcoal didnât 100% think it out.
CHARCOAL (NARRATION): On paper, this sounded like a great idea. My own space, my brother and his kids get a room, everyone wins. I didnât see it as illegal or bad, just bending the rules.
Panel 3: The tank comes out of a portal and ends up in a colorful land.
Panel 4: Charcoal steps out of the tank and inhales
Panel 5: Charcoal exhales. Heâs taking the time to take a deep breath to calm down.
Panel 6: Charcoal uses a spellbook to ask where he is, heâs a bit happy now. *10
CHARCOAL: Magic book, where am I?
MAGIC BOOK: Sus Su Gnoma, Dragon Realm.
CHARCOAL: The Canada of fantasy realms, a great place to build a home and thereâs no taxes out here.
Panel 7: Charcoal is standing on the right of the frame with the tank the furthest to the right.
Charcoal is holding the spellbook.
CHARCOAL: Generate a house for me.
Panel 8: A house appears on the left side of the frame.
MAGIC BOOK: House generated.
CHARCOAL: Thank you.
Panel 9: Charcoal makes a portal appear.
CHARCOAL: Open portal to Burnsburg house.
CHARCOAL: Now to get my things to make this house my own.
Page 11
The Comic Pages moving forward are now Horizontal rather than vertical.
Panel 1: Charcoal steps through the portal.
Panel 2: Charcoal enters a dilapidated houseâs dusty and ruined bedroom that seems to have been abandoned for decades. Heâs confused.
[Play The Droid by Jerry Goldsmith from Alien 1979]
CHARCOAL: What the hell? I said, Burnsburg house. Not an abandoned one.
MAGIC BOOK: This is the Burnsburg house.
Panel 3: Charcoal goes into the hallway and looks around.
CHARCOAL: This looks like my house.
Panel 4: Charcoal is startled by a crunch sound beneath him.
Panel 5: Charcoalâs holding a smashed portrait of his family. Heâs looking concerned now.
Panel 6: Zoom out to reveal the interior of the dining room.
CHARCOAL: Yep, this is definitely my house.
Panel 7: A shot of the door with banging sounds coming from it.
SFX: BANG! BANG! BANG!
Panel 8: Charcoal runs into a closet.
SFX: SMASH! CRRRRRK!
Panel 9: Charcoal uses his spellbook to cast a spell.
CHARCOAL (WHISPERING): Ytilibisivni dnoces 06!
Page 12
Panel 1: Charcoal is just a faded outline to the reader. He pushes the closet door down.
SFX: CRASH!
VOICE 01: What was that?
VOICE 02: Itâs in the hallway, letâs go check it.
Panel 2: Charcoal makes it to the inside of his bedroom before they come and we only see their legs as they run past the bedroom door.
Panel 3: Charcoal flees out the bedroom still invisible.
Panel 4: Charcoal makes it out of his now abandoned house running out the door.
Panel 5: He makes it to a car to hide behind.
Panel 6: The invisibility wears off.
Panel 7: Peeks out from behind to really observe the environment.
Page 13
Panel 1: The car is futuristic, the suburb is largely abandoned and in the background thereâs tall, futuristic buildings like from Akira, Blade Runner, and Cyberpunk. Some advertisements are seen on holographic billboards.

Panel 2: Charcoal asks the spellbook about where he is. Heâs really disturbed now.
CHARCOAL: Where am I and what day is it?
MAGIC BOOK: Youâre in Neo Burnsburg, Arizona, on October 14, 2122. Burnsburg was destroyed in the A-Norm Eugenics War of 2047-52. Neo Burnsburg is under the control of the Slush-N Top Pop Plus Corporation.
Panel 3: Charcoal has a face of shock and all color drains from his face.
CHARCOAL: 100 years into the future?! How have I gone that long?!
Panel 4: Charcoal has an idea.
CHARCOAL: The tank, I mustâve teleported into the future without checking! I just gotta get back into it and go home, then everything will be okay.
Panel 5: A dart lands on Charcoalâs chest.
CHARCOAL: What-
Page 14
Panel 1: Charcoal lands on the ground unconscious.
[Fade Current Background Music]
Panel 2: POV as Charcoal opens his eyes in a bedroom. It looks like all the ways are glass screens like the cubicles from the Black Mirror episode 15 Million Merits. Like Apple made the iBedroom.
Panel 3: Charcoal looks over to see a young cat who resembles Clawson. But it isn't Clawson.
CHARCOAL: Who are you? Where am I?
Panel 4: The cat approaches Charcoal.
CAT 1: Youâre at Burrowvue Bloodworks.
CHARCOAL: Burrowvue? My momâs family?
CAT 1: So itâs true, youâre great uncle Charcoal?
CHARCOAL: Uhh⊠yes? Have we met?
Panel 5: The cat hugs Charcoal.
CAT 1: Great uncle Charcoal! I never thought Iâd get to meet you. I read so much about you. The ogre diablo, the museum prison, and the Ring of Nortazion!
CHARCOAL: How do you know about me?
Panel 6: Cat 1 shows Charcoal a notebook with Charcoalâs name on it. Charcoalâs flattered but a bit stressed.
CAT 1: I snagged this from your great grandmaâs house when we were clearing out.
CHARCOAL: Iâm really flattered but listen I gotta get back to Sus Su Gnoma right now and fix this-
Page 15
Panel 1: A rabbit in a medical uniform opens the door interrupting them.
MALE RABBIT NURSE: Are you well enough for dinner?
CHARCOAL: I presume Iâve been out for a while, so yes. By the way, I was hit by a dart, did anyone here kidnap-
Panel 2: Charcoal is carried by the nurse to a seat in the dining room with multiple chairs on the sides of the table with one lone chair on the other side of the table with Charcoalâs chair on one lone side too. The seats are filled with multiple unnamed cats related to Clawson.
Panel 3: A wife of Clawson announces Clawsonâs arrival.
CLAWSONâS WIFE: Tonightâs a special night for Clawson Burrowvue, this family, and especially the one who reappeared.
Panel 4: The doors open up to reveal a silhouette of a tall, skinny cat.
[Toccata and Fugue in D Minor on organ begins playing.]
Panel 5: A shot of an aged Clawsonâs head. He looks 58.5 years old. In actuality, heâs 117 years old. He looks on with a look of anger, resentment, and disgust at seeing his twin again. The fact that he was still young-looking made him all the more angrier. Look something like Bruce Wayne from Batman Beyond.
CLAWSON: Welcome back, Charcoal.
CHARCOAL: Clawson? You look⊠ol- okay. Did you use makeup?
CLAWSON: Remember speech therapy?
Page 16
Panel 1: Charcoal and Clawson are sneaking out of their speech therapy office. When they were 4 years old.
CHARCOAL: Clawson, weâll get caught.
CLAWSON: Relax, weâll only be out for a second.
Panel 2: They go down a hallway to a science lab.
Panel 3: They cautiously sneak down a hallway.
Panel 4: The 2 of them are shocked when they hear some cheering from another room.
Panel 5: They hide behind a plant as scientists celebrate their success with a serum.
Panel 6: They sneak inside of the lab.
Panel 7: Clawson notices a chair.
Panel 8: Clawson pressures Charcoal to play with the desk chair.
Panel 9: Charcoal is sitting on the chair while Clawson pushes it around the lab.
Page 17
Panel 1: They run into a shelf.
Panel 2: A bottle of the serum spills out. The bottle reads âGener-2105 Final Result.â Thereâs a clipboard containing info about the Generation Gene. It says stuff about mutations, longer life, and better health. *11
Panel 3: Clawson puts on a pair of golden horns on his head.
CLAWSON: That Generation Gene came in pretty handy for me to live to see this day.
CHARCOAL: Listen, this timeline here was a freak accident. If you let me leave, Iâll clean this whole mess up.
CLAWSON: Like hell you will!
Panel 4: Clawson zapped Charcoal with his Blue Diablo powers.
Panel 5: Charcoal is bound in a straight jacket made of blue pure energy.
CHARCOAL: Hey, listen listen listen! Stop! I only wanted to go to Sus Su Gnoma to build a place of my own. I just wanted my own room from my family, not this!
[Toccata and Fugue in D minor fades.]
[The music I want to play at this point is The Funeral of Queen Mary. This song gives me the best feeling for this moment, something poignant and serious, a tragedy.]
Panel 6: Clawson begins his angry tirade about the aftereffects of his absence. He gives a dominant vibe like Miguel OâHara/Spider-Man 2099. All the while he takes out a small knife from inside his jacket with his right hand.
CLAWSON: 100 years, you have no idea how much trouble you caused me in 100 years!
Page 18
Panel 1: A flashback to Clawson in 2022 looking at his Blue Diablo tracking device which shows Charcoal just gone.
CLAWSON: I knew something was wrong when you were missing for 3 days.
Panel 2: A flashback to back then with Charcoalâs face on a missing personâs poster.
CLAWSON: Your disappearance left quite a shakeup in our family. Mom, Dad, and the whole family were worried sick.
Panel 3: A search party looking for Charcoal.
CLAWSON: Our family was so committed to looking for you.
Panel 4: A cemetery burial plot full of Charcoal family members.
CLAWSON: Mom lost her job, Dad lost his job, and the family went bankrupt and most died in poverty and homelessness.
Panel 5: Clawson in tears being escorted to the Burrowvue Estate. Then called Burrowvue Soups and Brews. The place is a large factory with a slew of buildings connected to it. The Burrowvue family (Blairyâs family), including grandma and grandpa on Blairyâs side are there. They arenât too happy to see Clawson.
CLAWSON: I was sent to the only âfamilyâ I had left, the Burrowvues. Mom didnât want me there, but some custody stuff got me there.
Panel 6: Clawsonâs strapped to an operating table with tubes and cables hooked up to him. His grandparents look on with evil smiles.
CLAWSON: I already donât like visiting them, but now that Iâm theirâs, they keep using me for their products! Endless putting needles in and taking them out.
Panel 7: In the present, Clawsonâs basically having a mental breakdown.
CLAWSON (CRYING): What have I ever done to deserve this pain from them?!
Panel 8: A flashback to Clawson dropping a little firework bomb into a soup vat. The Burrowvue Vat Rupture of 2013.
CHARCOAL (NARRATION): To be fair, this was because Auntie Regina Burrowvue spanked Clawson with a ruler. Somehow nobody arrested her for child abuse as of 2023.
Page 19
Panel 1: Clawson is in a state of terror rocking back and forth wearing his golden horns. Tears streamed down his face. (Mentally, heâs like Ted in Slug form in Harlan Ellisonâs I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream)
CLAWSON: I waited and waited and waited for you. I hoped when you came back things would get better, you could free me. But they never got better!
Panel 2: Clawsonâs bedroom door had a red growing pentagram. He canât escape. Writing is all over the walls. âIâm trappedâ âAgonyâ âPainâ âI WANT OUT! BUT THEREâS NO WAY OUT!â
CLAWSON: 20 years! I was their little toy to play with when they needed to test and make stuff. I couldnât leave or have a life of my own. I couldnât see my friends anymore.
Panel 3: Clawsonâs standing in front of two gravestones of his grandparents.
CLAWSON: Since then, my grandparents died and I wanted to take the company. Because after years of torture and experimentation, I wanted something more than the companyâŠ
Panel 4: A shot of Clawson holding a picture frame of his dead family with Charcoalâs head circled in red.
CLAWSON: âŠrevenge!
Panel 5: Clawson overlooking a machine where various rabbits are being drained of their blood. Theyâre in agony and look like theyâre dying of blood loss. Theyâre various Burrowvue family members. One of whom is Auntie Regina. A sign on the walls says, Burrowvue Bloodworks.
CLAWSON: I dedicated the past 80 years to running the Burrowvue business with one goal, finding the one who caused my misery and getting even with the family who made me miserable.
Panel 6: Clawson in the present pointing to Charcoal off camera. *12
CLAWSON: YOU!!! If you never left, none of this wouldâve happened! I hate my family because of you! I hate my momâs side for agonizing me! I hate dadâs side for dying looking for you.
[The song that plays at this point fades out.]
TO BE CONTINUED⊠(Cutting this into 2 parts because itâs a big post since itâs a script I hope to turn into a comic book, one day.)
