GARGET//GARCHOMP×JETRAY - I had originally made this illustration as part of a collab with azelrix for an episode of his fusion factory series on youtube. But since the collab is no longer alive after his instagram page unfortunately got hacked and eventually deleted, I figured I'd share this piece with ya'll anyways as I would've hated for it to have not seen the light of day. Also, please make sure to check out Azelrix's youtube channel of the same name, as I'm sure he could use all the support he can get in this difficult time. - Now, When azelrix asked me to make a pokemon and Ben 10 fusion, I immediately knew which characters i wanted to fuse as I had always imagined what a cool fusion of garchomp and jetray would be, since not only did they share so many similarities when it comes to their designs but also because they're one of my all time favorites from each of their respective shows. When it comes to the fusion, I mainly took inspiration from the creature designs found in early 2000s monster anime in the likes of bakugan and yu-gi-oh as I strongly believed that their fantastical elements would translate really well into the dragon like design which i was going for with this design.
