Following @videtur-existentiae‘s example, I decided to play with a few character makers at Picrew and came up with what could be modern AU appearances from several of my characters. From the top left, there’s Aenor, Viridiel, Merces, Marika and Ilendre; I rather like these even though Aenor looks too buff. :P
I actually have a sort of an modern coffee shop-esque AU thought up for my WoW characters where they tend to meet in a café owned by one character. Aenor is a struggling history student who volunteers at a cat shelter, Viridiel works as a bouncer and loves video games, Merces is an odd-jobs (and a former child soldier) who wants to become an engineer, Ilendre is studying to be a nurse while questioning her faith and Marika is... probably a travel blogger or something.
