A general recipe on how to make my tiefling girl, Briar. This is more for recording, if not for fun, in case someday I need to fix my game. Mods are marked with an * for clarity.

Ultimate Custom Monster Companion CYOA

This took a while, but it's finally here! Due to quirks of ICC, some things have been changed from the static version, but its mostly all here. Most notably, if an option has an addon for the soul you chose, you must take the addon.

Changes from the static version: Prefabs have been swapped out for combos. Souls now comment on options they like/dislike. A few new options throughout. Worlds section has not been included. It felt under-baked, and if it returns, I'd like it to be much more fleshed out.

Our halfling bard has come a long way, now let's divvy up their stats. While you don't roll for stats in pathfinder (at least, you don't need to) in the same way you do for d&d, you do attribute bonuses and gain skill proficiency levels based on the abilities you want to focus on. So we're going to see where our abilities fall based on a poll and we'll attribute bonuses accordingly.

This data will go towards the ability boots for ancestry, background, class, and general ability proficiency.

So we've got a failed hero on our hands. You know, that actually works really well with the proto-lich class. Still feel sorry for our poor firenewt. They're probably carrying around the soul of their dead adventuring buddy until they gets strong enough to revive them.

Anyway, this poll is going to be a little different. We're going to figure out our character's stat arrangement. Using standard array, I'm going to apply stats based on the plots on the poll result. Highest gets the 15, second highest gets the 14, and so on.

The spellcasting ability for proto-lich is wisdom, but be careful not to ignore the other stats too. This will be a much longer poll (1 week) for best results, so be sure to reblog it so it doesn't die out. Also, don't forget to submit name options so we don't end up voting on random names.
