Percy Jackson: Blue Merle Collie who he adopted at a rescue in Florida where he was studying Marine Biology. He named her Ariel after his favorite Disney Princess and along with Annabeth’s blue tick coonhound he licensed her as a therapy dog and they visit hospitals together to help people with PTSD. The pug came latter. It wasn’t scheduled and yet it happened. He adopted the pug and named him Flounder,

Annabeth Chase: Blue Tick coonhound. Annabeth had known she wanted an active dog and coonhounds were at the top of her list for their rich history. Because of Percy’s love of Blue he insisted she get a Blue Tick coonhound to match his Blue Merle Collie. Annabeth named him Eric and he became a licensed therapy dog. 

Jason Grace: Bulldog. He and Piper were browsing a shelter before they got Hippolayta. While Piper was looking at the cats he was looking at the dogs. When he saw the big-round-slobbery bull dog he instantly fell in love and adopted him before Piper was even out of the cat section. He named him Tom after Pipers Grandpa Tom. 

Piper Mclean: German Shepard. You can't even change my mind that she does not have a dog thats considered big and scary is hers and she loves her so much! Piper and the dog go EVERYWHERE together. Piper will make her little bandanas and bowties and headbands. Piper ended up naming her Hippolayta after the Amazonian queen.

Leo Valdez: no dog. he has a Siamese that gets along with Calypsos Bernese Mountain Dog. His Siamese’s name is Lumbre for the Spanish word light. He tends to sit on leo’s shoulder while he works and in his lap when he chills. Leo built him his own giant playstation and Calypso sewed him his own little fire proof cape and goggles. 

Frank Zhang: Basset Hound. How Frank got his hound no one quite knows. all he even knows is that he was walking to camp one day and by the time he got there he attracted exactly 3 birds, 5 stray cats, a rabbit, 2 squirrels and the stray baby Basset Hound behind him. by the time he made it to the gate only the Basset hound was left and giving him the big puppy eyes. Frank could not resist, named her Emily.

Hazel Lesqueve: Golden Doodle. she got Chewy after watching the Star Wars movies with her brother and boy friend. she insisted that they go to the pound. she was originally going to get a smaller dog, but when she saw the miniature golden doodle who matched her eyes she knew she wasn’t leaving with out it. 

Calypso: Bernese Mountain Dog. Calypso had actually never seen a tamed dog before getting off her island. She went to a Puppy Parade with Annabeth, Piper, and Hazel. She insisted on petting every dog she could. She did not get one right away because she was worried about it not getting along with the cat. She got her dog after he wandered into the shop as Leo was working. She took him in and to the vet before naming him Hercules and adopting him.

Nico DeAngelo: all black Chow Chow. Before Nico got his chow chow he originally only had Will’s Malamute Naomi. He did not get the Chow Chow until Mrs. O’leary ended up dying in a battle. after that he knew he missed his friend he went to the nearest shelter and adopted the rolly polly ball of fluff. Her name after a great debate between Mrs.O’leary Jr, and Bianca, Bianca won out.

Will Solace: Alaskan Malamute. Will had actually grown up with dogs so after he got out of college he adopted his favorite breed, the Malamute. He named his Malamute Naomi after his mom, who unlike his dad had always been there for him.

The first time they met wasn’t exactly on the BEST terms and he was sure she didn’t have a good impression of him. But Suzaku was determined to change her mind about him. He visited her at the hospital a few times and even asked her out to the movies. Things were going well, but like most things that seem to go well in his life, his line to work would always stand in the way. Not that he was complaining. 

He loved his job, he was good at it. And if given the choice to give it up, he wouldn’t. Despite his pride in being a military man, times like this he wished he could be just a REGULAR guy going on a date with a pretty girl. He felt his phone buzz in his pocket and he leaned to the side to answer it. His posture straightened as he received his orders. He looked over at Euphemia with an apologetic gaze. 

“I’m sorry to do this AGAIN, but I have to go. I’ll make it up to you when I come back, I PROMISE.” He hoped she wouldn’t be upset but he could stick around long enough to find out. He was gone a few weeks this time. He couldn’t tell her why he was gone or what he was doing because it was regulations. He hoped she could understand. He called her as soon as he got back, asked her out for coffee to catch up. He arrived EARLY, eager for another date with the pretty doctor. Yet, a part of him was worried about how she would be when she got here.
