Iām bad at saying words, so I will keep this short with some of my favorite @thesunguardmg memories.Ā
It was almost 5 years ago I strolled up on my main, a warrior, whom Iād recently given thought to a backstory for, and decided to apply to The Sunguard. I met @sakialyn , who interviewed me in my first fledgling steps into the world of RP, and I fondly remember that new RPer smell- the story of Thordemar punching a Gronn. Which today, I still consider it canon since his dice rolls lived up to it.
I remember meeting this excited writer who I bonded with because both of our characters had aĀ twin. Better yet, both of us had a reclusive, nerdy gay brother, and like barbies, we wrote fun excuses for them to meet. Thus began the magic that was Feloāthore & Adrianal. But they became best friends, and so did my friendship grow with @ocarina-of-what.
The Void Snail.
Raiding Hellfire Citadel (or as I liked to call it, Hellfire Shitadel), was some of my favorite raiding times to date. Killing Archimonde felt like a big accomplishment and I started to get to knowĀ @jessipalooza. Her voice I remember coming in and smoothing over bumps and just being one of reason- helping us all chill out and have a great time. I loved and remember fondly the Observatory RP we did, and I learned how to be a better social creature with your honesty and advice.
And that sunspear dodgeball match where both Thordemar and Thanidiel rolled a 27 and knocked each other the fuck out. @thanidiel
Stargazings.
Every RP Iāve done with @emberfallen was a memorable one and I am so pleased and honored to have such an amazing character in my characterās stories.
That time Feloāthore seduced a Kulātiran sea captain because his player had too much wine that night. @felthier
Thereās so much more. But importantly, I grew as a person and as a creator in this guild. To everyone Iāve crossed paths with- thank you for the fun times. Thank you for writing with me. Thank you for being part of an experience I enjoyed.
Iām not sure yet where I will go in World of Warcraft retail. Iām still figuring that part out. I will of course continue writing and arting for my characters on any new adventure they may take but Iām ready for a break and to celebrate a fantastic close to a chapter. Iām ready to devote my creativity to personal projects such as @drumsofatelaer . But to any former guildies reading this, feel free to keep in touch here. <3 Catch you all around!
