A smile slowly spread out onto Saskia's lips as she nodded, linking her arm with Ren. "I swear to god if this investigation ends with us dying horribly, I will haunt you for the rest of eternity."

Saskia sat cross-legged across from Ren, her back and her head leaning against the wall as she smiled softly. "Don't you get all sentimental on me, it doesn't suit you."

Saskia took a long swig of her beer, her eyes widening a little at Ren's words. "I'm taking that as a compliment because you said I can charm anyone, does that mean I can charm you?"

Quinni hated how well Ren could tell when something was wrong. She was used to being able to lie to people about being okay and them not giving a second thought to it. Truthfully, the redhead was grateful to have someone like the other in her life. She knew Ren would always make sure she was okay.

Letting out a small sigh, Quinni turned to face Ren. "I just... I am tired of always having to be the bigger person," she murmured as she fidgeted with her hands. "I am always having to push aside my own feelings and it is exhausting."

Despite going to award shows being literally part of her job, Saskia always hated them. If it wasn't the photographers yelling at her, it was the stress of having to perform or knowing she probably wasn't going to win.

She was also hyper aware that she wasn't exactly the most welcomed at American award shows, most people still hadn't come around to the fact that pop music could be sung in something other than English and be successful in America.

It was infuriating.

Wrapping her arms around Ren's middle, she rested her chin on the other's shoulder. "I'm ready to go already, fuck these award shows honestly."
