“Gwangju?” his eyes are expressive, though he doesn’t say much for a while, probably attempting to figure out what Changkyun meant by asking. “It’s a place I’ve lived in for twenty years. Your family is from there too, right?” Hyungwon nods, draping an arm over the younger’s shoulder. 

Heol~ it is. You’re still pretty on point, it’s early! And you remembered before the day was over, heh. Treat you to some food? Wah… I’m broke. You’re the one that’s a real idol here. I’m only a trainee. -she fakes a sob- But it’s your birthday soon too, right? So we shall go out to eat for sure. It’ll be my treat, I swear. You’ve just recovered from an injury, if I heard right. That’s another thing to celebrate. Heh, thank you very much!

     A POUT HAD SETTLED on Yixing’s lips as he stared at the mess on the kitchen floor. One wrong move, a slip of his feet, and his entire dinner had crashed to the floor. Granted it was only cup noodles with some left over beef and chicken mixed in but it was still his dinner and now it was on the floor and he was incredibly sad. He could hear his friend Changkyun forcing himself up off of the couch and into the small kitchenette area, the sound of the footsteps stopping at the entryway. “I dropped my dinner.” He said in the most monotone voice, bottom lip quivering ever so slightly as he looked over at his friend. “I stepped on my own foot and then dropped it...”

— {★} —  "I’m awake, I’m awake!”, she repeated to her phone. Euijin was waiting backstage with the rest of her group for the final stage of MBC’s last show of the year. Everyone in the cramped room was wiped out from their piled up stress and the pre-recording they had to do for their performance. She, being the night owl and with the most sensitive ears, couldn’t quite count a single sheep due to the loudness of the event that was still ongoing. Her tone of voice was evidently forced to sound lively, though – she hoped her same-age friend couldn’t detect it through his end of the line. “Ah…it is midnight-”, she muttered whilst she checked the wall clock on top of the waiting room’s door frame just to be sure, “I don’t exactly have any resolutions…but I guess I’ll give it a try?” Eyes closed shut after taking a quick glance at all her members and back-up dancers, she wished for a good year ahead of them, along with the chance of finally growing her hair out.
