一It had been years. More than a decade to be exact since the last time those dark optics of his had laid eyes on the familiar face. There was obviously a much more rugged and different demeanor about the other male, almost to a point where if he hadn’t taken a closer look, he never would have figured out. Nearly impossible to decipher that it was Choi Jonghyun. They used to be family friends, although their age difference was nearly a whole 10 years apart. Regardless, during the times that they had spent together, Yonghwan saw him as a younger brother - one of which he never had. However, the years in which the heir to the Jeong family had spent away in the states for college, their relationship dwindled and eventually thinned into nothing. But there was always that part of you that never forgets something that was once held dear - no matter how much they’ve changed. To his surprise, yet not at the same time, he had recognized Jonghyun. What was supposed to be a casual stroll to clear his thoughts, turned out to be a small reunion between former brotherly figures. ❝ Jonghyun, Choi Jonghyun. It’s me, Yonghwan. ❞For a moment, the raven head wasn’t certain whether the expression on the other male’s face was sincere - that he had no recollection of who Yonghwan was or if Yonghwan’s instincts were wrong and this person wasn’t Jonghyun at all. But something, something inside of him, told him this was the right person. So he inches forward and offers a friendly smile.
