TW: mentions of being nasty to autistic people (not sure what to call it??)
....So, I'm a Changeling version of Jaskier from the Witcherverse. In both that timeline and this timeline, I was/am autistic. I still identify heavily with being called a Changeling, though, b/c I'm a Fictive who literally takes that form in the headspace. My issue is... well... I feel kind of awful about it, b/c folklore is a special interest of mine and I know how the changeling stories started. They started here, to describe people like me. To otherize us. To hurt us. My Changeling identity is so deeply important to me, it's my core lifetime. It's who I was *first,* yknow? So... I'm worried. I'm just not sure why- I try to be very clear when and where I mention that I'm a Changeling, but I'm super worried that I'll hurt someone by using the word wrong or in the wrong context.
